Took calls and answered e-mails for an hour.

His perfect strike partner was Eric Cantona. (Surprise surprise).

He questioned his future at United a couple of years ago. He said "Not really" when asked, but it was obvious from the hesitation that it was more than that, and he did consider offers.

Referring to the Tottenham bid in 1998, he actually used the words "The club wanted to sell me". But Fergie said if he stayed, he would get games. So he did. :D

He could have been signed by Wolves as there was a Wolves scout there when Jim Ryan went to see Ronny Johnsen.

Fergie asked if he minded having a racehorse named after him.

He also has a share in a racehorse in Norway himself called Striking Chief (not his suggestion he said)

When his career is over he will have a home in Britain but will return to Norway. "My beloved Norway" to be exact.

A major source of inspiration to him was Muhammed Ali.

A woman came on who is a regular match-goer, and said that he is most popular player there after Roy Keane. You could see him go red. Bless.

Some woman phoned up You're On Sky Sports and Rob McCaffery said "Would you like your daughter to bring him home", and the woman said
" I'd like to bring him home".

And Ole can dish it out on the pitch....although occasionally players reverse into him recklessly as on Saturday. ;)

Like I said, he's the favourite United player amongst many of the people I know!

However, the biggest compliment I can think of regarding Ole is being told by a Gooner editor of one popular football forum last year that many of the Highbury supporters always worried whether Ole was in the United line-up whenever the teams met, & they were always relieved when he was missing from the starting line-up yet again! They always felt that Ole was United's most dangerous player!

He just didn't understand why he was not an automatic choice for United but hoped that Fergie carried on leaving him out!

PS - Lizzie, wasn't he voted United's player of the year 2 seasons ago?

Not just women, but guys seem to love Ole too! Even my hubby, who's hardly a football/United fan, loves Ole.
