ole ole ole ole ole ole!

unfortunately, I think he'll be back on the bench next Friday. what else does he have to do to prove he is one of the best strikers in the UK?? his main fault is not costing us plenty of millions and therefore is substitutable(sic).

That's the sick thing about it. Score a winner & save United & Fergie uses it as an excuse that he's better as a sub!

Fergie broke his promises to Ole time & again after he'd saved United yet again by promising to play him in the starting line-up & lo behold, Ole was dropped for the next match.

Stats have shown that Ole has scored some 80% of his goals when he starts for United yet becaue Fergie has come up with this B*llsh*t theory of how he analyses games from the bench, many gullible United fans who believe everything the gaffer says, fall for it!

Of course he scores also when he comes on - basically Ole scores whether he starts or comes on so he shud not be called a super-sub - don't forget he top-scored for United on his debut season with 19 goals partnering Cantona & when he was in the starting line-up.

He agains proved it by netting 25 goals when he started more times than usual & what about the 6 goals in 7 EPL games in 2000/2001 when he started those games as the only recognised striker with Teddy, Cole & Dwight all out through injuries or suspensions?

I agree with you pizzu - maybe because he cost little & is not demanding that he's treated this way!

I dont think Ole's as unhappy as you think. Sure he likes to start, but I think he's realistic enough to know his role.

He's loved (quite rightly) at Man Utd and he absolutely loves scoring goals, regardless as to whether he starts or not.

As long as he gets his fair share of starts - which he did last term - he'll be a happy bunny.

He'll be buzzing this morning after scoring the winner - no worries.

Indeed and I hope Phil learns that too. It is not how many games you've started that count, it is how much you've contributed to the team that matters. Ole ole. I love this guy.

he's probably aware that we cant afford to risk both our 'proven' strikers every game. no doubt RvN will be rested too, but for now he needs match sharpness.

With the greatest respect to Phil Neville, I don't think that's a good comparison.
