Solskjaer out with injured ankle

Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has pulled out of the Norway squad for next Wednesday's friendly against Tunisia.

Solskjaer injured his ankle in United's Champions League win against Boavista.

The Norwegian will not now feature in Saturday's Premiership match against Middlesbrough.

"His ankle injury will definitely put him on the sidelines for a while. He's a definite non-starter against Tunisia," his agent Jim Solbakken told Norwegian website nettavisen.no.

"Ole Gunnar's in good mood, as always, but it's of course unfortunate to pick an injury when the season comes to an end with so many important matches."

Shouldn’t this read, “Step up, Yorkie-Yorkie-Yorkie”? ;)
Would be amusing to see Diego notch his first for the club v Boro considering the circumstances etc., tho I have a slender suspicion Disco may play a part on Saturday. Maybe this is because at this time of the season you can not afford to have your main strikers acquire injuries; Sir Alex may be prepared to rest Forlan before the trip to Elland Road, so he is ready to step in should Ruud or Ole suffer further knock backs. If Giggsy manages to get on at some point, it could soften the blow, but I hope this Ole injury isn’t too serious.

Don't you think that both Forlan and Yorke will play if RVN is definitely out? Especially if the midfield is still minus Veron and Keano. I'm not sure RVN's injury is too serious as the reports seem a bit vague, but it could be an opportunity to give him a bit of a rest. Whatever happens, we're still on a great run and should be strong enough to see off 'boro. The number of chances we're creating, god, I'd fancy my chances of knocking one in never mind Disco. :D

You missed the bit where it says that Diego went to see if OGS was alright and "accidently" stood on his ankle. ;)

I think Fregie will opt of Giggsy-Forlan partnership or 4-5-1 with Fortune playing on the left

I don't think we will see Disco in the 1st team anymore, because he's so out-of-sort

Ruud also may not fit on Saturday, so Diego have a big chance to be the starting 11. Hope he can do a good job and score.
By the way, hope Ole get well as soon as possible.

RVN & FORLAN - i hope.... is RVN fit?

if not then GIGGS and FORLAN - remember GIGGS vs FULHAM?

It not that i think that YORKE should remain punished and not play it is just that he can't be match fit and he probably wouldn't be able to get in to the game.

DIEGO wwwwwoooooooooooowwwwwww DIEGO ......
