Game + Gamestation have offers on pre-owned games like 2 for 20 quid etc and i don't really know what to get.

Are ALL the Halo's good?
How about Splinter Cell? Rainbow Six?

Suggestions?

Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 is quality, i'm still yet to play the second.

Cool.

I haven't played a Rainbow Six for years and years but i used to love them back in the day.

They still as good?

Halo is well overrated. Rainbow 6 is good, Orange box, PGR 3 or 4, Bioshock, Burnout revenge, all good titles.

I haven't owned a car racing sim in a long long time because i would find myself getting bored of them pretty quickly. Would you say there's more too them these days to keep me playing or will i be bored after a few races like the old days?

Also, what's the best racing game out there?

PGR, GT, Forza or one i haven't heard of?

You won't get GT for 360 anyway and Forza is probably better than PGR, more of a simulator, athough I'll be going with PGR this time as it's more than two times cheaper.

I'll be going to the store today to pick something up, I'm thinking about PGR and FIFA 09.

Fifa 09 is brilliant.

It's converted me from PES.

To be honest, i still get bored of driving games relatively quickly. The only driving game that keeps my interest is burnout. Fantastic game!

As Sarni says, Forza 2 is better than PGR, but it costs more.

Well it cannot be worse than PES2008 which is a major feck up in my opinion. PES6 was very good and I enjoyed playing it online, I finally bought 2008 a few weeks ago (would have bought it earlier if it hadn't been for bad reviews I had read) and it's poor.

Euro 2008 was fantastic, FIFA 09 is probably better than that so it should be a good game. It's surprisingly cheap as well.

Burnout is fantastic, I had a little bit of Burnout live this morning when I woke up too late and had an exam at 8am. It usually takes me 45 minutes to get to school as I live in a traffic jammed are of Krakow, I woke up at 7.35am so there was little of hope. Started my enging at 7.42am, arrived at school at 7.58am, some kind of record - broke so many laws it's impossible.

2 quid more expensive than the new Pro Evo in the stores over here i think.

Hmmm interesting. Again, Burnout is a game i haven't [played since the very first one.

What is it that keeps you interested for longer?

Ok. Thanks.

The series has come a long way since the first one. It has intuitive controls, its fast paced, good feel to it and its just... fun..

By the new Pro Evo you mean 2008 or 2009?

We don't have 2009 over here and 2008 is in classics series so it's reasonably cheap at £20. It's a year-old game though. FIFA 09 costs about £8 more.

 Must have been driving like a mad man to do a 45 minute journey in 18 minutes!

2009.

So the new Fifa is only 28quid over there!!

Has anyone played an older 360 game called ninety nine lives, and is it good or shit?

Yes, it's about that.

Well, there's a pretty big car service near my place and I figured out that if I drove through their parking and cut my way it would save me a few minutes - it obviously did but I had to find some space to fit my car back on the road afterwards - thankfully I did it quickly. Then there was only one line each way but I have a small car so I could overtake a few cars.

I got to the traffic lights and then the line for buses started, you are not normally allowed to take one of these unless you're a taxi, so I pulled over quickly, took out my cheeky TAXI writing and put it on my rear window. I basically went at full speed afterwards, there are no cars on these lines in the morning so I saved plenty of time.

It's not the first time I found a sheet of paper with a simple TAXI written on it useful. I wonder where it will take me long-term though. It's pretty stupid too as it's obvious I'm not driving a taxi when I'm alone in my car and the only thing that suggests I'm a taxi is a piece of paper.

:lol: Thats quality. I doubt I would get away with that over here.

Well I shouldn't here anyway. It's not very believable and I don't know why I'm doing that, although I only do it in emergency situations like today. It's a bit like a fake ID, you don't use it normally but only when you need them.

Police don't pay too much attention to people taking those lanes anyway. It usually saves up to 5 minutes on this road unless you decide to go against all the other laws and speed etc. I still don't know why I've made the road in 16 minutes, especially as I drove the first 2 minutes with frozen front window and my head outside the left window (must have looked extremely silly).

I was so pissed off when my friend told me he was late as well, although by 20 minutes, and decided not to take his exam immediately but waited another two hours and took it with another group. I though it was not allowed so I took it with my group, thirsty and hungry as feck with my teeth barely brushed.

As for racing games, I would recommend PGR4 over all others. Great game, great life span, and amazing on Live.

Ouch. What exam is it anyway?

Just seen on the marketplace you can download GTA: San Andreas for 1,200pts.

Rainbow 6 - Vegas is a cracking game. I used to play it online pretty much all the time.
