Old manchester United Strips

Hi i wonder if there is anyone out there who could help!!

Me and my partner have had an on going bet after seeing Man Utd play in the Blue strip over the weekend.

I believe that they have played in blue before about 6 to 7 years ago, with black trim and black shorts. I think this was around the time they brught out the Yellow and Green strip. Although my partner believes they have never played in blue before!!

Please can someone help me on this and settle the bet once and for all!!

That one with Sharp viewcam on was bluish I seem to remember.
 
And the 2000/2001 Vodafone one was a bit bluish, didn't Phil score a goal against boro when we were wearing that kit?

The Sharp Viewcam one was like you say, about 5 or 6 years ago.

I could be wrong about its bluishness though.

We need someone else to confirm.

That one could have been more black than blue. If it was blue is was damn dark navy.

Mmmm memory coming back!

The white one had Viewcam on, the third kit just has Sharp, had the badge in the middle, but WAS blue.

It was dark navy with maroon panels on the shoulders. Unlucky kit. We played more in the white and blue trim training kit.

I think it was the 97/98 third kit, so would have been worn against the likes of Southampton.
