Just thought I would create a thread dedicated to all the old versions of Championship Manager in order to stop it seeping into the new Football Manager threads. A quick run-down of my game so far.
Blackburn Rovers (version: 99/00)
Picked so that I could start in a lower division and work my way into the Premiership. Possibly the easiest of all time to do it with (aside from Middlesbrough in 97/98).
The season finished with me going unbeaten whilst winning the League Cup and FA Cup double after a massive squad overhaul which sees me now with just one original player in the starting line-up in Matt Jansen:
My Stand out player was a 775k signing from Necaxa:
Current squad in my second season.
And my last match...to really rub it in against them...
I was going to try and so some screens for my CM 97/98 games but for some reason the print screen button doesn't work on that game ?
