I heard from a friend (Juve-fan) that it was SAF himself who was there (maybe he just mixed up the Fergusons!?), and apparantly it should be Davids who is the target...

Scouting the future rivals sounds more plausible.
Vital matches those two, shouldn't underestimate them at all.
Id say he was checking out Juves play in general, no players from them i wouldnt think.

Not sure I believe it though Salas was a bit good once. Remember that goal against England a while back, world class it was. Never really fulfilled his potential though.

What could Martin Ferguson tell him about any Juve player he didnt already know ? Clearly there to check on their form. Not as if Davids or Salas would have suddenly become crap overnight !

I think the Fergies were thinking more in the champions league clash than anything else. Anyway, Salas transferwould be possible because hes cheap and hes very good. Trezeguet would be a big mistake, he really sucks. del Piero is so much better than the others but hes for Juve like becks is for us, so hes impossible. Davids is too old, bad idea.
