Their manager, Franck Haise, finished 2nd with Lens 2022-2023, a point behind PSG (84), but fell off a cliff the following season whilst also competing in the CL. Amassed 51 points, a drop of 33 between seasons. Anyhow:
Haise has generally set up Lens in a 3-4-1-2 formation, although he has at times used a 3-5-2 and a 3-4-3.
This obviously prompted me to check out whether Ludovic Magnin at Lausanne also played a similar formation...he doesn't.
