Thanks for that, though to be honest,I'd reckon there would be quite a few of your fans not yet willing to concede we are the best in the country.
I have to be honest ....I really can't see beyond Real in the CL and I think the Italian sides(Milan,Juventus) could do really well.Man Utd will definitely go through to stage 2 in my opinion from what, you must admit,is a fairly easy group.I think you could go as far as qtr finals but not much beyond that. You know,I've said a couple of times on this site that you mancs just aren't what you were and stated the high point was the 1999 side, expecting a great deal of debate. But no,no one on this site has disputed that,so I guess you agree with me.
As for my team (Arsenal, for those who haven't figured it out)...time will tell.I've seen so much ups and downs over the last 3 decades, that, who knows? In fact, the 'downs' have made the 'ups'
even sweeter (maybe a moral lesson for us all??
).But what I can say is that the current Arsenal team is by far and away the best I've seen (I go to every game and quite a lot away ,including at OT) and it's breathtaking to watch.I feel confident and as long as we are so good,I'm going to enjoy every minute !!</strong><hr></blockquote>
The champions are the best in the country aren't they? And they are Arsenal at the moment. TBH, after years of trying to convince disbelieving Liverpool and Arsenal fans that United was the best side in the country, even when we were European champions, I'm quite prepared to concede that Arsenal are the best in the country. At the moment of course. I'm sure lots of United fans have experienced the same.
No one thought we'd even get as far as the semis last year. ("Follow follow follow..."
) I wouldn't write off Man United's chances just yet. I'm not going to speculate on Arsenal's chances, but I will say this: whoever beats Real will win the CL.
