£4m now. Disco's value just plummets by the month.

Becks will soon be able to drive again, and Fergie obviously doesn't want him at the club; let's hope he moves soon, so that the money can be spent on a replacement.

£4m? well feck
surely he's worth more than that. The man's driving is flawless, he's not gotten a ticket in years. The first team squad will attest to the fact that no one gets them where they need to go faster or more safely than Yorkie.

In all seriousness though, the man's going to be worth not much at all soon. We probably should offload him as soon as possible. What happens if he keeps refusing to leave though?
Will he just keep on driving people around?

Blackburn are never going to swap Dunn / Duff in the near future and will milk them for every penny they can get, while 4m would be terrible business; I can see Yorke staying at Old Trafford for a while, unfortunately.

From our beloved <a href="https://www.redcafe.net/team/player.php3?id=20" target="_blank">RC</a>....

"....It soon became obvious just why Alex Ferguson had commented that out of all the strikers United had faced in recent years, Yorke had caused them the most problems. And now that he was being supplied by players of the quality of Beckham, Giggs and Scholes, he was flourishing.

But it was the partnership he developed with Andy Cole that really brought out the best in Yorke. Great friends off the field, they have an almost telepathic understanding on it and combined to score a host of memorable goals throughout last season. Over 50 goals were scored between them, Yorke grabbing a total of 29 in all competitions.

Included in those 29 were a hat-trick at Leicester City, a brace of headers against Inter Milan, an exquisite chip over Ed de Goey at Chelsea, a last gasp equaliser against Liverpool in the FA Cup and a vital equaliser against Juventus in Turin.

1999/2000 didn't produce the fireworks that had been on show in the previous season for Dwight Yorke, although he still finished as Manchester United's top goalscorer. A lean first half of the season had some people speculating that Yorke's previous season was a once off. However, a great second half, which included a hat-trick against Derby County, saw Yorke chalk up 20 Premiership goals, the first time any United player has done that since Brian McClair in the late 80s. "

Reading this makes me sad... He did bring us some fabulous times in 98-99 but IMO he has let us down... Even though he ended up as our top scorer in 99-00 the feeling was that he could have done better and although his performance in the 6-1 trashing against Arsenal gave us hope his contribution since has been miserably poor...

Let's face it Yorke was a 12M one season wonder... :( :( :(

Reading that some team is willing to pay for his service is good news for United... I'd take the 4M and run.....
