Pitying all you northerners doomed to a life of cu
....this season,Chelsea rank as the best so far. They seem to me ,for the first time in living memory,to be genuine title contenders. They show a defensive strength and resilience unlike previous Chelsea teams I can remember.
So...should be an interesting contest on saturday at OT...and although I make you Mancs favourites.....only narrowly ;) .....you would be foolish not to take them seriously, especially in view of their relatively good record in recent years at OT ! :D

You favour us, though rate Chelsea as the best? Bearing in mind we're second and knocked them out of the Worthington Cup recently, as well as beating Arsenal, how can you say they're the better side?

Not new to Bosnich I bet, though I guess he's no longer of Chelsea now.

all joking aside, Chelsea are a very good team. theyve added a bit of steel this year thats previously been missing. United will have to be on top of theyre game to take the 3 points. But im confident with the main men all in good form right now that they can do just that.

Grass...sand...makes no difference to Bosnich as long as there are white lines there.

Will be a damn difficult game, solid defence and managed to score 4 against a very good Charlton side. Will take a top drawer performance to beat them with good concentration and clinical finishing - things we've been lacking recently.

really so you didn't see CC spill the ball into the net from henry's shot. how disorganized they played in that game at the back. your eyes need to be checked!

We've got West ham on sunday at Highbury, and although I think Bowyer will be a good signing for them,I am fairly optimistic we'll get the 3 points. All the more important,I think ,that you Manacs get all 3 points against Chelsea.....should be a cracker !!

Cudicini was making a come back from injury and didn't look fit that day, unusually for him looking somewhat fragile.Back to full fitness,I rate Cudicini highly ,arguably the best 'stopper' in the Premiership.

Their record at Old Trafford has been outstanding for a long time, something like only three defeats in the last thirty games (too lazy to check).
Every time we play them I think it will be different because they aren't particularly good but we rarely win. This year they are better. I can actually see reasons why we might not win but I still think we will.

It won't be easy of course but it's a match we need to win. We won at Stamford Bridge at the end of last season (a great performance), was very unlucky not to win at the bridge this season and won in the worthless cup. So the only thing that worries are Chelsea's record at OT, tho records are made to be broken as the cliché goes.

We should be favourites, Chelsea aren't playing as well as they were a few months ago but we have a shocking record against them at Old Trafford.

I do,they're the best in England (and Highbury, naturally).I was clearly referring to Chelsea being the best opponents seen so far at Highbury !! :)
Anyway,what's your view on saturday's game ??
Confident ? :D

Hope you didn't make too much noise though PSV - they don't like that at the Library! :D

So according to the above statement the Arse are only rated at third best, seeing as we have already beaten both you and Chelsea and you rate Bates Blues above yourselves, class is that.

you're making a shed load of excusses for chelsea , are you blue?

why is it everytime we have a game, this prat pops up and does his little patronising routine of "itl be a tough game" bollocks, acting like his team are the best team since sliced bread. Things like that irratate me mate, sorry. Your not the new dominant force in england, your not the best ever team to play football, your not a bigger club than us and your still a bunch of arrogant twats, even when you werent winning things.
I hate it when you look down on us like were not worthy of you, your ina day-dream
There, glad i got that off me chest

Methinks you do protest too much !! Seems to me like the pressure is getting to you with this somewhat sour and febrile response.

Listen, matey, why don't you say what you really mean.....you fear the worst, don't you, that your years of dominance are over??Well, there is no divine right for you Mancs to dominate each year. These things go in cycles......look what happened to Liverpool after their years of dominance.

Anyway,as far as I'm concerned :
a)We are the best thing since sliced bread
b)We are the best team in England, that's why we are Champions.Get used to it Glory Hunter!
c)You lot delude yourselves but let's say it the way it is.We are Champions because we won it....not because 'you lost it'
d)Anything can still happen this season as we all know but I think we'll win it again because we are playing the most breathtaking football seen in this country and we are a better team than you.
e) And I hope Chelsea kick your arrogant ass saturday.A little humiliation is something you obviously need.

That's my view from this exalted position of looking down on you (which I really quite enjoy!!) :D :D

I seem to remember one night at Villa park and a certain Ryan Giggs goal. BTW how many European cups have Arsenal won so far? You have always been a force in England. For the best part of the last century, and this one Arsenal have been one of the dominant clubs. But as far as European football is concerned, you fall woefully short of the mark. That is the measure of a great side and you have to hand that to the Scousers in the 70's & 80's and Manchester United in the 90's and now. Sorry mate but that is the sore truth. You may well pop up now and then with the odd championship and the FA cup but you will never dominate an entire decade. As far as a treble is concerned then its You Wish Jellyfish.

I expected a typical English atmosphere, but we were the only ones who where singing, even when we were kicked out of the CL and even UEFAcup...

We sang Van Nistelroooooooooooy too :D
And Ajaks-publiek. :D
