Absolutely cracking game. The 1st game I ever bought when the playstation came out. Blew me away.

I've noticed certain games have.....shall be say "dipped into" the original Resident Evil 1 soundtrack. In fairness I'm not surprised based on how good it is but I find it funny. I'm in the Wintergarde Keep area of Lich King and the low cello parts of the soundtrack sound uncannily similar to Res 1

Great game. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm sure there are Cafties out there who had a similar experience
 
The thing that made it scary was the incredibly awkward movement and camera angles. Absolutely great game, I'm tempted to dig it out again

You should do it man. I agree the awkward camera angles were so creepy. Also obviously because it was a first of it's kind. I know 'Along in the Dark' was it's predecessor but Res 1 had the graphics.

The story line, the gameplay and the music all combined made a wonderful experience

Shame you couldn't play as Barry, he was awesome.
 
I recently got it off the PSN, when it was working, and started laughing at how incredibly bad the voiceacting was.



How did they ever think this sounded even remotely decent?

No way ! The snake in the attic ! Great memories. I remember you had to run through barrels and be strategic in your position lest the snake eat you alive

Some of the best terrible voice acting ever, along with the cheesy live action stuff.
 
Did you ever play the remake for the Gamecube Kinky? One of the few times I think a remake was better than the original. Cracking game, playing through this the last few days (just beat Plant 42) and I have a craving to play the remake.
