Number 9 is still free!

What are the rules with this.
Can a reserve use it if no one else come to take it on. I find it unusual that there may be a chance that no one will wear the 9 throughout
the season. When you think of who has wore it in the past. Any fresh rumours for who might wear it!

Here's my pennys worth:

No new striker before we play the qualifiers. 'When' we do qualify talks over Crespo will continue. 'If' we can do a deal with a realistic valuation then he'll wear the No 9. Otherwise I think SAF will stick with 3 strikers.

Everyone panics about only having three strikers but I dont. For one it gives SAF the option to play 5 in midfield with Giggs or Veron pushing on to support RVN, Ole or Forlan.

Stick with what we've got and let's get the campaign off to a flyer
