I've never seen a ball roll so slowly in me life. In the few seconds that it took to hit the net, I thought a Pool defender might get back to block it. I guess Diego had to hit it softly because of the tightness of the angle.
i didn't think he was going to miss TBH. and he took it quite well considering the angle.
i don't know if RVN would have done it different by taking the ball into his control and then dribble to the middle then stick it like a knife. That would have been a great way to sink them tho'.

it looked like forlan had more shirt problems again than with his shot.

forlan looks quite confident after he shoots, or at least ruud seems to have more confidence in him than forlan himself.

Not Ruud! At the replay you can see Ruud raise his arm and celebrate BEFORE Diego hits the ball! <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" /> Kinda cocky or what?
