Now it's Walter Samuel!

First Ayala, then Nesta, Cannavaro, Hofland, thuram.... now Walter Samuel.
planetfootball.com are reporting Fergie has asked to be kept informed... Samuel has not agreed a new contract yet. They still say Thuram is a big possibility - but if Milan miss out on Cannavaro they could turn to thuram.
This is all getting a little ridiculous again...

hes currently the best central defender in the world in my book. has everything, physique, speed, technique, composure... and hes a wel-lard argie

whatever it costs,bring him in SAF.you will not regret it!!!he is the pillar of strength in Roma's defence .i would like to see him and Thuram here next season for sure.

Hasan you're so right it was almost worth posting it three times :) No doubt that all the defenders linked are top drawer but a slight minor question mark hangs over Cannavaro and Nesta as they're never lived outside of Italy before, Nesta has never even lived outside Rome. Samuel has shown he can make it abroad and is, although a south american playing in Italy, a traditional English style centre half. He'd be huge for United and could give us the a rock at the heart of our defence for years to come.

He is a rock indeed, and far cheaper than Nesta while being Ayala's price while he is four years younger! Very enticing indeed. ;)

I think Samuel would cost more than Nesta.

1 Roma do not want to sell and they dont have to sell.The thing with Lazio is that they maybe have to sell some stars :(

2 He is younger than Nesta and that means he would cost more.

i agree, samual would indeed cost a bomb weather it would be as much as nesta due to the hype that surrounds him i don't know.
i would rather see thuram and ayala come in the summer because a
1- the seem more eager to move - essential
2 - they seem more eager to play for united - fecking essential
3 - ayala over samual coz he's cheeper ;) - more for the new No.9 - nnnnice.
4 - ayala will bring more experience, and won't block the progress of two great talents ... BROWN and O'SHAY, due to his age - more kids ;)

that guy are negotiating new contract with roma at the moment, so all this united story or bullshit are created by samuel's agent in order to get a batter deal for his client from roma.

nesta= not possible
canavaro= not possible
ayala=posible
thuram=posible
hofland=likely
