This speech is completely contradicted to what he said in the official hp a few days ago. Is it another mind game from Fergie?

Sure, he may not be after Di Canio after all. That could just be a figment of the press' overactive imagination. It could just be a ploy to throw people off the trail of the player(s) that they really want, and your guess who that could be is as good as mine ;)

i think it's more of his mind game to drag away public attention. Speculations always push prices up becuse clubs involved want to make the most of it.

It's obvious we need a 4th striker.

I totally agree with you ppl. Manutd needs a forward

My plan would be

1st Bring a world class striker and Di Canio( 1 yr contract at a reasonable wage would do)

2ND Loan Forlan to a Premier league team or a 1st division team so that he can settle down to the English game and regain confidence

3rd Give first team run to Webber while loan Nardiello to Antwerp for first team experience. They may replace Di canio next year.

A big team need four to five forwards
This years forwards would be

RVN, OGS, New striker, Di Canio,Webber.

Next year

RVN,OGS, Newstriker, Forlan, Nardiello/Webber

I've said before that it wouldn't suprise me if we didn't sign anyone.
