Depressingly accurate statement.

Agree. I like Maz stepping up in his rcb role, even supporting our attack.Mazraoui has been really good at RCB - he’s a much better option as part of the back 3 over Lindelof. Without a doubt.
And possibly one or two performances aside, he hasn’t been as good as a wingback.
I agree. I think in most back 3s managers like wide cbs who can also play full back so they can help out on that side if needed. That’s why shaw would have been perfect for the LCB role if he was fit.Mazraoui has been really good at RCB - he’s a much better option as part of the back 3 over Lindelof. Without a doubt.

Yeah he’s done it so well.Agree. I like Maz stepping up in his rcb role, even supporting our attack.
He‘s not a winger, so less effective as wingback.
Yeah all spot on and Shaw would have been a great fit. Guess vast majority see Maz as similar. Didn’t think I’d find anyone thinking Lindelof is a better option for us.I agree. Well, I see him as a typical RB. So actually I don't think he fits into Amorim's formation. Because even Lindelöf is a better central defender than Mazraoui. He’s a far better RCB than a wing back , it’s not even a discussion
Aye. I'm having severe withdrawals this weekend. Missing United playing too.International breaks can eat shit and die
FA cup weekend next week it looks like. Why no PL games next weekend?
Alright, thanks!FA cup weekend next week it looks like.
Honestly, I had no idea either. I had to check it myself.Alright, thanks!
Good thing you're less lazyHonestly, I had no idea either. I had to check it myself.![]()
Well, I see him as a typical RB. So actually I don't think he fits into Amorim's formation. Because even Lindelöf is a better central defender than Mazraoui.
But between Mazraoui and Lindelöf I hope we can agree that Mazraoui will be the better of the 2 as RWB after all.
And that is how you see it, since you don't have a patent on the truth. So I guess your post does not have much importance either, if we are to follow your logicDoesn’t matter how you see him. What matters is how those two players fit in with the formation we actually play, and the consensus is that Mazraoui fits in to our formation as a RCB in a three better than Lindelof does. He’s just a better player than Lindelof there. He’s also a better RWB, but we’re better as a team with him at RCB and someone else at RWB.
Except what I’m saying actually fits with the formation we play and Amorim’s team selections, and yours doesn’t. You keep talking about full backs and central defenders when that’s not even the formation we play. And if you haven’t figured out what formation we play, I’m struggling to see how you would have watched us play enough to notice who is performing better in that formation. And that is how you see it, since you don't have a patent on the truth. So I guess your post does not have much importance either, if we are to follow your logic
Lindelof offers nothing except a body on the pitch. He’s useless.Mazraoui better as a full back, not as a central defender.
Whilst not as good as Maz, Lindelof is far far from useless.Lindelof offers nothing except a body on the pitch. He’s useless.
Anybody who thinks he’s a better option over Maz at RCB clearly hasn’t watched us all season.
In what way? Mazraoui has been pretty faultless at RCB when played there. Lindelof has been quite weak and made a few errors.Well, I see him as a typical RB. So actually I don't think he fits into Amorim's formation. Because even Lindelöf is a better central defender than Mazraoui.
