i have recently been reading a lot of posts regarding our fans thinking some of our players should be sold. i absolutely disagree.

i think it's as bad as saying we want to get rid of SAF.. our players have been there for us.. just as SAF has.. what gives SAF more rights to stay than these players? SAF is also not performing his tasks excellently.. he's also suffering from a 'past it' syndrome that may well be effecting our players..

for this, i think we should give them atleast this season before someone is to be sold - or SAF is to be sacked.

it's not fair to sell off some of our supreme players to put fire on other players' butts.. so now we want to make scapegoats? absolute bollox.

i know i have said SAF is past it, but i never said i wanted him out of his seat. i wanted to wait and see if things changed. if things don't, then maybe he should go.

it's utterly unfair for some of our fans to say "let's get rid of Giggs, Gaz, P.Neville, Becks, but keep SAF". why not put SAF on THAT list also? why do you differentiate them when they brought us the same trophies.. when they have been here their whole careers..

i don't see any logical reason in this. i really don't. it's a disgrace we even think about making some players scapegoats when it could have also been the manager's faults.

I don't think anybody is trying to be disrespectful when we say Fergie's time is up, it was acknowledged last season that by announcing his retirement in advance that it effected the team. Fergie has been the best manager we have ever had, but he has taken the club as far as it can go. Football has changed, teams no longer have tough tackling fullbacks like G Neville, how many teams on the world stage don't have fullbacks who can't attack eg Cafu, Carlos, Lizerau and even in the premiership Arsenal have Cole, Liverpool have Riise- fullbacks who can attack and even get the odd goal. Also how come Fergie was so ruthless with Jaap Stam yet persevers with Veron and Blanc, Neville etc. SAF is the best manager we have ever had without doubt, but let's not unstay our welcome.

How many teams HAVEN'T got two attacking full backs? A hell of a lot more than those who have.

And don't we have Silvestre?
