Norwich set to sign Olsson
Norwich City have confirmed that they are set to sign Blackburn Rovers defender Martin Olsson for an undisclosed fee.

The deal for the Sweden international, who will sign a four-year deal at Carrow road, is subject to the relevant paperwork being submitted.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Canaries boss Chris Hughton said, “We’re delighted with the addition of Martin. He’s been playing in England for seven years and is well acclimatised to the Premier League.
“He can also play anywhere on the left-hand side so he brings us good flexibility in that sense, plus at 25 he’s at an age where he has some experience and also some time to improve.
“At this time it’s about improving the squad that we have and Martin certainly does that.”

Olsson made his first-team debut for Blackburn in 2007 and went on to make 132 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals during seven years at Ewood Park.

With Van Wolfswinkel, Redmond and Garrido, they're doing good business this summer.

Garrido still cant defend, so it only makes sense. Olsson is a good premier league left back another nice signing

Aparently close to signing Leroy Fer too. Doing some decent business it seems.

Norwich City will be playing in Sacramento, California against on July 18 at 5:00pm Club Dorados de Sinaloa. Does anyone affiliated with Norwich realize how hot it's going to be in Sacramento in mid-July at 5pm?

It's not unusual to see daily highs between 105-110F. We had a high og 113F on July 4/. Fortunately, right now the 10 day forecast indicates 95F for the high on July 18, but even for a friendly that's ridiculously hot weather for a football match.

Garrido will be in good company then. Olsson is a terrible defender.

Decent going forward I suppose.

That's why they sold Grant Holt.

I am a little nervous of other teams next year who were pretty far behind us previously. Norwich, Newcastle, Southampton, Swansea, Sunderland are a group of clubs who i think have the potential to push on a bit and become more competitive for the top 8. Maybe it's not their year yet but if they keep making these signings it won't be long until they are near.

I think we have made relatively smart signings so far but there is a lack of a real quality player so far. I really hope and i think we probably will sign one.

Ugh, I have to see this guy's diving for another season. I still remember when he conned Scholes when we were playing Blackburn away, Scholes was going to kill him.
