Nordic Ghost Yeti (Scandi Carroll) | Haaland at City

If there is indeed a release clause and Haaland's plan is to destroy every league, they won't have a choice. It will depend on his reaction when he gets offered Mbappe level of salary and a golden private Etihad jet.
No one is gonna beat City in offering a salary.

If he wins everything and breaks all the records in EPL then it makes sense for him to experience the La Liga.

Can’t believe how fecking good this guy is. If he stays relatively injury free during his career, he’s going to break a hell of a lot of records.

If he wants to go they can't keep him

I think the implication is that city routinely pay their players ludicrous sums off the books, which is how they managed to hold onto players like aguero and Silva who looked nailed on for Barca or real early in their career. They were found to do it with mancini I believe so no reason to think they wouldn't with their players

Maybe so. We'll have to wait and see what happens with him

Remarkable goalscoring feat considering he must play an average of <60 mins a game.

According to the BBC website, before today he was at 73 mins per goal. With another 2 in 45 mins, he must be sub 70 by now, which is ridiculous in the Premier league

All comps last week he had a goal or an assist every 59 Minutes. Absolute madness really.

And with 4 g+a in last 2 games it's probably improved further

Sickening as I really thought at one stage he would be coming here. I even remember the interview where Ole was asked if we were signing Haaland and he gave a wry smile.

One of those players you would love at United but definitely has a very punchable face.

You could wonder how much more records this guy would have if he actually played whole games.

Unreal specimen of a footballer. Messi and Ronaldo obviously blurred our vision but outside of those two this guy's ruthlessness is beyond comprehension. Why is it so easy for him?

This City side won't lose a single game this season anymore in the league, so if Arsenal wants to beat them they have to keep up with that.

Because he is supreme goalscorer who plays for an uber dominant City side. I bet he'd struggle (relatively) in a team in which he'd have to do more than poach or get the final touch.

Take an example of the 5 goals vs Leipzig. All the goals were rebounds of shots on target that just fell for him to sweep in. He has so many opportunities to clean up bouncing balls, so many chances for one on one's. He hardly, if ever, creates anything for himself and he doesn't need to because of the team he plays for.

I can’t believe we are letting a Norwegian with an offensive ponytail to be the best player in the league.

Kevin Phillips once scored 30 goals in the Premier League for Sunderland in much the same way. The idea that you have to play football as a #9 for lower level teams is plainly false. If anything, people were saying Haaland was going to fail becsuse Guardiola is known for asking so much more of his forwards. There’s loads of pure goal scorers that have played at a lower level. Vardy did it across the leagues. It’s just the really good ones tend to score so many that they end up at really good clubs. It’d not some strange stroke of fortune that Haaland has found himself in this position. He’s just better at it.

Think about this, he has better goal scoring ratio (goal per 90 min) than Messi best ever season, thats quite insane.

And the only thing which stop him from scoring more goals, is Guardiola, who likes to rest him early in 2nd half.

How long will City keep him before RM come in for him? 3-5 would be my guess.

Will he ever go to RM?

He has told us in interviews that he was always a City fan since he was a little kid. His dad played for City. Perhaps his goal in life is to stay with City and break all scoring records.

I hate defending him because he's got more than enough fanboys on this site but this is an odd take. He used to play for a side that isn't über dominant and he still scored for fun. That's why City bought him from that side.

Rumours they still pay Jesus and Zinchenko and Sane off the books.
Balotelli and Adebayor too (so they won't speak out).

If I’m not mistaken, Alfie said in an interview he want’s to play in all the big leagues, Germany, England, Spain and Italy, or something to that extent.
That would mean he can’t stay too long at City. Fingers crossed anyway.

The Ronaldo model but without the 9-10 years in one place.

How is he a coward ?
If he didn't sub him out everytime he'd be breaking 80 goals for the season and win the balon d'or, but nooooo, can't have him take that from his precious messi. The coward

He’s a freak.

He’s now equalled Mo Salah’s record for most premier league goals in a 38 game season with 32. He’s easily going to beat Shearer and Andy Cole’s 34 goals in a season record even though they were in a 42 game season.

He’s going to smash the 40 goal barrier and be the first player to have more goals than games at the end of the season which is just insane.

The number of times he’s been subbed off early having scored or goal or being on a hat-trick is scary in itself. He’d already be past the 40 goal mark by now.

I really hope you don't actually believe what you've typed here.

I think I said it at the start of this thread but the last time I saw a player look so utterly dominant over his peers was fat Ronaldo. He is that good.

Don't be silly, there's no such thing as a Nordic City fan

He’s the best striker in the league, they also have the Best midfielder in the league.
It’s a recipe for goals galore. The best assist providing midfielder in premier league history with potentially the best goal scoring striker in premier league history.
