i would love to see Nesta come to Manchester united but the logic says no. One of the major reasons that Veron had a tough season was cos of the Press, Every interview Veron gives he is asked about wanting to go back to Lazio not forgeting the English and Italian media constantly linking him to a move back. So everytime he is asked this he is had to deny it, obviously he can't turn his back on them saying he will never return, imagine what they would do to him then. Remeber no one is linking Ruud back to PSV every day of his life
He has been unsettled the entire season and for fcuk sakes, he has said he wants to stay and finish his contract, but hasn't ruled out a move back to italy. Imagine what they would do to Nesta if he came, Lazio fans would obviously want him back and the club would pretend to regret selling him and every italian newspaper would link him back to them.
He would get too much attention and press speculation. Fame and attraction is one thing, we need a player who is seriously focused on getting the job done.
On another point, David Beckham apparently flew his hair stylist out to Japan before the quarter finals, imagine if he did this before one of Sir Alex's big games, no wonder England went out.
