Remember the "10 game winning streak"??
Well well have it wrapped and delivered before the months out. ;)

:D :D :D :D

ok, ive realised why paulb and the other scum ar'nt napping

go on then, youse can talk about your game in hand

I've heard the Arse are chanting this too...United will have won 8 in a row...then the showdown at OT...Liverpool ride the donkey into town...we'll see...no predictions now...

FFS, well done you've climbed above us - what d'ya want, a medal? ;)

Still four more wins needed to reach the 10 in a row prediction Murt - think you can manage it?

It will be difficult to win 10 in a row...they will win their next 2 EPL matches...then face Liverpool...a win there, and United can very well win their next 8 matches (which would be 17 in a row)...highly unlikely, but look at the opponents...then they enter the stretch run with matches at Leeds, vs Arsenal, at Chelsea before closing out against two average teams...after Liverpool, Uniteds top 3 opponents will be at Bolton, vs Villa, and at West Ham...one could say Tottenham or Boro at OT will be a test too...I think not...

yeah, a big fuchin leather medal

as regards the big 10, a couple of draws wont kill us now so if we dont get it it'll just damage my pride more than our title bid.

What did i tell you about the reds charging up the hill after thew Derby game though? ;)

and what did i saw about it being time for pool to panic after getting the confidence knocked out of em by Barca? ;)

Im not one to gloat you know.
:D :D

Look I don't want to hear any more nonsense out of you Mancs. Once we get a 5 year plan in action you'll be finished. :o

The 10 game run was due to start against Chelsea..

and then against West Ham..

Of course you lost both games at home

Impressive little run you're on now mind in fairness

Coincides with a run of easy games tho

Not easy enough for you lot apparently...

Liverpool 0 - Fulham 0

Fulham 2 - ManUtd 3

Yeah that was a good result..

Tho I'm sure you realise your run of wins has put you against the "easier" teams

Newcastle wasn't too bad either...

The fact is we're winning and gaining confidence...

You on the other hand are drawing and losing to the good, the bad and the ugly at the moment...

You'd expect to beat Newcastle at home tho, despite their lofty position....and you didn't look too good IMO

The Bolton result was a huge blow for us, and we were awful against the Arse..I'd have taken 4 points from Villa and the Hammers away

A settled defence is helping you...but its likely to struggle against a decent team

I agree yesterday wasn't the prettiest game but we got the job done... that with Giggs and Beckham not playing...

The defence is looking solid IMO and we're conceding a poultry number of goals...

An interesting fact is all the top teams (Us, dippers, Leeds and the Arse) have all conceded 4 goals in a game this season, thus your and their defences are not exactly watertight either...

We're scoring goals for fun though and that is clearly going to be your downfall...

Emile Heskey goal tally = 2

:D

But Newcastle have scored the third highest amount of goals in the premiership Davo, so apart from playing Arsenal who else can test us more?. You dippers with your one trick pony and two goal donkey?.

And you are basing your our defense is shit theory on our games earlier in the season when we were making ridiculous mistakes?. If so, you should look at the fact our defense has been near perfect in the last six games, hence the change in the number of goals we have conceeded in the last seven games (which is considerably less than Liverpool and Arsenal have conceeded).

The irony of it is you are struggling against everyone

I haven't seen any of your run of wins apart from yesterday's game, so I was relatively pleased by the fact that you didn't look as good as I'd feared you may..

You haven't conceded many goals of late in comparison, but you've played the lesser teams so that was always likely to be the case...

Your 4 goal point is funny.. ;)

And you've played the lesser teams...there may, just may, be a connection in playing the lesser teams and conceding less goals..

Well we have been looking good and scored 5 and then 6 goals against the 'so called' lesser teams, one of which hammered Chelsea recently, so this point just doesn't hold any water... a team is only a 'lesser team' if they are beaten as Bolton showed you and us this season...

You seem to be conceding quite a few against the stronger teams yourselves...

And i found the Heskey stat to be much more amusing...

;)

We've been hearing this crap from the Derby game onwards. I think its about time u scousers gave up on this argument. Hell we beat Fulham away while you couldn't beat them at home. We beat Newcastle who are above you on points. Besides you haven't exactly been beating lesser teams like Bolton & West Ham lately. And lesser teams like Soton (who we thrashed 6-1) have beaten some of your "better" teams.

So Davo lets just drop this crap shall we. We know we haven't hit top gear yet but to write off everything we've achieved in the last few games as just being due to playing lesser teams is just bullshite.

Yes you're right.. the lesser teams do still have to be beaten..

But they're still lesser teams and by and large easier to beat then the top teams...

God results for the likes of Bolton etc don't change that

I'm not slating you here...you've done as much as you could in winning your last 6 games, but I'm not convinced its down to the fact that your defence has suddenly become really solid as some seem to think...

I'm not writing you off?? I'm suggesting a possible reason that may have aided your run of form..

I love your first paragraph... You sound brillant what with beating the likes of Newcastle and Derby whilst we have had so much difficulty with West Ham and Bolton....

If only we could manage what you have eh?

Neither do I...

The inconsistency we suffered earlier in the season was not the sole fault of the defence but rather failings within the whole team...

The 6 game winning run has coincided with better passing in the midfield, deadly finishing and a generally improved workrate...

As I said regarding lesser teams it's not just Bolton and i mentioned an example earlier...

We've gone on a 6 game run without hitting top gear as you pointed out earlier, so at this point i'm rather optimistic about the future...

Fair play...you are looking a lot better

But not that great...perhaps you'll improve further, perhaps you'll revert to early season form...

Makes for an interesting second half of the season

Start dreaming of scoring more than one goal in a game and playing entertaining football and once you have mastered them started going on to dreaming about victories....

Face it Davo, your a shit team, with a shit ground, in a shit place with shit all chance of winning anything anybody other than you cares about winning.

Chelsea yes obviously...it happens every year..

4 points from the Hammers I'd take....lets face it you'd kill for that haul from them.. ;)

Bolton is the annoying one...
