I think he was in more danger from the stones, bottles, coins, lumps of wood his own fans, (and maybe his own bodyguard - as he has a record of it) were throwing.
He never did have permission to do the walkabouts in the first place

No he clearly wasn't in more danger from the Cardiff fans or his bodyguard as they weren't throwing things at him...whereas the Leeds fans were..
