30m for Thuram - you have got to be joking. Whats makes him good enough to play in the center for us if he cant do it for Juve. He gave his best to Parma.

Barthez is too bloody short. Blanc too slow and wants to retire (excellent 2nd half of last season granted). And Silvestre still makes one or 2 gaffs every game. Do we really want another French defender?

Easy mate - and i suppose Phillippe Mexes would be a shit addition to our squad.

Thuram maybe to old, but that doesn't mean that he is not united class, he could do a fantastic job for us, although it from a cost and age perspective, Rio or Nesta would be better value!

Personally, I hate seeing threads which are entitled no more south americans or french, whatever at OT. To be a honest to make such generalisations, shows highly questionable judgement.
