....................................... SJOR .............................................................................................. TRV ..............................................

Sjor Tactics:

tactics:
dont really have time to write something long but a Jurgen Klopp team playing his famous style. A lot of high energy players with great ability on the ball but also very disciplined and hard working.

TRV Tactics

We will play a 4-3-3 formation.

The core foundation of the team is its loaded defense. Vogts is arguably the best defensive right back of all time and on the other flank is Lizarazu who was as consistent as they come and one of the few top full-backs who was very good both attacking as well as defensively. Maldini and Ruggeri form the central defense pairing. Whats there to say about Maldini other than he is the GOAT defender of all time and in Ruggeri he has the perfect CB partner alongside him who was a beast aerially and was a a great organizer at the back ala Baresi.

In midfield we are rolling a 3-man midfield of Petit, Davids and Cazorla. Petit is the perfect holding midfielder because he was a master at plugging the gaps in midfield and in this role will be able to maximize his long range passing from deep. The man had a great eye for a pass from deep and will look to initiate swift counter-attacks from the back. Alongside him is Davids. As the great Marcelo Lippi said, man was a "one-man engine room" in his prime who did the job of two people in midfield. His engine and tenacity combined with his superb close control of the ball in tight spaces will be vital in breaking the opposition press. Cazorla rounds up the midfield. The little diminutive midfielder was a powerhouse of techniqe. Sick close control and a great passer of the ball, Cazorla was an outstanding playmaker who will be linking the midfield with the attack.

Up-front, we have an attacking triumvirate of Garrincha, Lewandowski and Son. Garrincha is the GOAT winger of all time. Not much more needs to be said about him really. On the opposite flank, we have Son, who is one of the best wide attackers in English Premier League history. A fantastic finisher who is a master at running between the lines and exploiting the space. With the attention Garrincha and Lewandowski would command, there would be lot of space that would be opened up in opposition defense and who better to exploit it than statistically the best finisher in modern era. Lewandowski would lead the line for us. The best no 9 in the last 10 years. An all-time great goalscorer who was robbed of an Ballon D'or in 2020. Lewy is the perfect guy to lead the line for us as he can not only be a target for the likes of Garrincha, Son, Cazorla and Lizarazu etc to look for but also with his ability to hold-up the play and bring others into the game, be it with link-up play or knock-downs.

reasons why viper doesnt have a chance:
  • he supports liverpool
  • my team is managed by jurgen klopp while his team manages some random jabber from caf

Initial thoughts. Sjor will have more of the ball but TRV's defence is class. TRV can do serious damage on the break but lacks a really good passer from deep to release Son or Garrincha. On the fence at the mo.

Love the setup and team from Sjor, but Garrincha is a bit of a cheat code against that LB. How is he even allowed in a "No Flair" draft?

as i dont rate cazorla at all(one of the best graduates of arsenal school of pointless midfielders), id have Brozovic go help a lot out wide + would ask Robertson to go forward almost all the time and see how they defend the overload? Will Garrincha help out? Will cazorla do anything? Vogts is brilliant but no player can do it against the numbers.
Also, when Garrincha gets pass his markers he then faces Yashin if he decides to go on his own or if he goes to cross Dijk and Boli are absolute monsters in defending deliveries from wide areas.

do not want ball for the sake of having it, if i have the ball it will be quick and direct attacks...if i can put them under pressure a bit thats fine but the plan is to not have the more of the ball, if i have it it will means his defending team is doing overtime.

TBH Petit was a very good passer from the deep.

Santi can drop deep and initiate attacks as well.

Sjor is judging Cazorla only from his Arsenal days where he had to play a more reserved/safer role because he was playing deeper. At Villareal and Mallorca when he was playing in a more advanced role, he was excellent when he was tasked with the team's primary creativity.

Couldn't really split them. TRV boasting a bit more GOAT-power, Sjor's more collectively cohesive. Particularly like the Van Dijk/Boli partnership.

would like to take this chance and thank the academy, my family and everyone that voted for me in this game.
