How do I hook my Nintendo up to the Internet ? There are 2 usb slots on the console but I don't recall getting any leads with usb ends on them

Actually I figured it out. I'm going to connect it to our wireless network. It's doing some sort of update now for me

So what are the advantages of connecting ? Can I game online now or what's the deal with that ?

Not much use ATM TBH. Only Mario football is online from what i have played on. I hope to see some sports games online for wii soon and a headset...we can hope.

Its a shame the games (from the online Wii shop thing) aren't free, or you cant earn point by completing them, that would make Wii the absolute hi-tech console killer

It'll end up being the console to buy. It's outselling the other two (and by an big margin in Japan too) so developers will start wanting to get their games onto it meaning it'll end up with all the best games. When I used to be into videogames which was a long time ago now, I always got that impression most people who work in the games industry are gay for Nintendo and I think they'll all be eager to flock back to them now they've got a non-Gameboy games machine which people buy.

If Ford gave away free petrol for life with every car they would .......

Go broke.

The novelty of the games which require physical movement seem good but the rest of the games look very ordinary. It might well be a flash in the pan.

There's a website that's similar to Pandora made specifically for the Wii where you can listen to bands similar to bands you like. Forgot the name of it though. And as my friend pointed out, you can watch porn on Wii.
