My gf watches the CW and she turned me onto this show. I'd never watched the other tv show with Nikita character (the one with the blond), only the french original movie "La Femme Nikita". But I gave the premiere a shot and I have to say, it's not half bad. The reboot looks pretty slick and I've always been a sucker for a hot woman who knows how to handle a BIG gun...

Early days yet, but I'm thinking this might be a decent one to follow if you enjoy watching shows with women in powerful roles. It's got an Alias like vibe to it which started well enough but lost me after a season so hopefully this won't end that way.

It's not goundbreaking or anything, but I've missed having a fun show with a female protagonist that can kick ass (and do so in a believable way). I've personally always loved the Nikita character - To me, the french anti-bond makes a way more believable spy / intelligence operative then Bond ever did. It's a fun show with some potential. I hope the show realizes that as season progresses.

I first watched it over Christmas and decided to get an itunes series pass for it, it is the highlight of my television week.

I watched some of them on Living. Decent enough show I guess.

Plus Maggie is attractive in a skinny, I could kick the shit out of you kind of way.

Was about to make this thread.

Maggie Q is gorgeous, and she's quite believeable in her role, both in acting and action. Nothing Oscar worthy though. Quite alot of pretty faces, specially Amanda's quite interesting character and scene stealer for me.

Overal I'd give it a 7.5 for a tv series, which is quite enjoyable and fun, although less serious and abit popcornish

The Assassin with Bridget Fonda (remake of the French Nikita) is a pretty good movie if you've not seen it.
The cleaner character in it played by Harvey Keitel was played by Jean Reno in the original, whose assassin character was the inspiration for Leon by the same director Luc Besson using the same actor in title role, and also starred 12 year old Natalie Portman in her first film.

I've just watched the lastest episode, this programme is getter better and better and better.

I never liked the way the British spell program

I don't like the way Americans take our language and spell words differently because it is logical to spell phonetically more often.

I liked the interesting twist at the end, but still I don't think Michael knows the whole plot, he might even think the mole/friend/pupil tracked Nikita herself.

My problem with it is that the storyline is moving too fast, Alex becomes an agent, does two missions, and is now heading far down this one way path without exploring her position in Division at all.

Yep the story moves too fast. I can't see this extending beyond 2 seasons but it'll be a worthwhile 2 seasons. It's really enjoyable.

Shame that it's on a month long break now after that cliffhanger :(

The two episodes have been very good. Especially the first one after the break.

This programme is brilliant, I just watched the penultimate episode of the season with perhaps one of the biggest plot twists I've seen in a programme.

I just saw a torrent for S1, freeleech. Got some free time.. worth a watch?
Is it too serious? Not too keen on that. Want something for light viewing

Watch it. It's brilliant. Best spy show on tv. Not too unrealistic and brilliant.

It is a rare example of a very well written action programme, it is better than the long list of spy dramas that have came out of the UK and US in recent times.

TBGB! Did you watch the finale? I loved it! And the way it's ended there'll be a second season
