RG and his girlfriend are expecting their first baby.

This from The Mirror but it is in all the tabs:

The Welsh international, known on and off the pitch as a serial scorer, was said to be "delighted" at the news he will become a dad.

In a joint statement the 29-year-old winger and his partner Stacey Cooke, 24, said they "cannot wait" for the birth of their baby in May.

The couple have known each other for 10 years and have been dating for 12 months.

The NOTW goes on to say that Giggs has recently reunited with his dad, Danny Wilson. And another quote in the NOTW:

A close friend of the family said: “Danny is absolutely delighted that Ryan is going to be a dad and that he is going to be a grandfather. They have had their troubles but all Danny ever wanted is for his son to be happy.“

Yeah, sounds like it's straight out of a soap opera. According to the papers today, Stacey is the former finacee of Dave Gardner, who is the brother of Emma Gardner (Giggsy's previous girlfriend who had a miscarriage). And Dave is one of Giggsy's best mates.

Ole has a son (he was on MUTV tugging away at Ole while Ole was trying to do a post-match interview) and Fabien's also going to be a father soon.

With an f'd up personal life like this it's really not surprising that his form has dipped in recent months. Milan probably looks attractive as it will be 1000 miles from his (presumably) now EX-best mate and prior girlfriend.

Maybe if his life sorts itself out his form will come back - it's hard to perform at peak leevel when your ind's on other things.

Actually, they may still be good mates. The article also said that Dave is now dating Davina Murphy, one of Giggsy's old sweethearts. (Like I said, straight out of a soap opera.)

Don't belive it. Never seen a friendship that has survived this kind of thing. Guess old Dwight taught Giggsy a trick or two while he was here.
