Hartson, Beattie even Shearer. We need to give defences more to think about than RVN who's getting completely swamped.
I seam to remember a substitution in one of the first round CL games at OT this year. Before the change we were 4-4-1-1 and playing rubbish after we reverted to 4-4-2 with Scholsie in the middle and started playing like champions. Does any one recall this and who it was against?
Can't recall who is was against, but this issue has arisen numerous times on here. I believe most are in agreeance that 4-4-2 is the better option, but as you have probably noticed, this is never going to happen.
How about signing Jardel. He has been linked with a move to Man Utd this season and he scores a lot of headers. Could be what we need what do u think?
RVN is good a picking up missed headers and goal-mouth scraps. Somebody who causes problems in the air would be a perfect foil for him.
Douglas Bader was pretty good in the air, is he still around?
