As usual 12 teams needed for maximum fun.

If someone would like to take over as commissioner this year then that would be nice as I really can't be arsed to take care of it for one more year.
 
I'm back in, however I can't promise that I'll have the internet at home all season depending on money issues, or else I'd offer to take over.

There is not room in this league if all teams from last year return. To join, get the commissioner to increase the maximum number of teams, or remove teams that will not be returning. (Error #638)

I've increased the maximum number of teams so you can now join :)

I doubt everyone from last year will return though.
 
Ima quit while ahead...I think I reached my zenith last year with the 3rd place finish (even though I led for most of the year and had to face the Yank on a hot streak)

Too bad you won't be with us this season.
If you know of anyone interested in playing instead then get them to sign up :)
 
OK I'm in but never played this before.. hopefully it will play to my advantage though.
 
I've upped the team maximum again so anyone else wanting to join shouldn't have a problem. We need a few more players to make it more fun, feel free to ask around if anyones interested.
 
10 players now... That's alright, but it would be great if another two could join.
 
Ok less than 3 hours to go now.. just worried that my shitty internet will mess things up and auto-draft will have me selecting 4 goalies with my first few picks.
 
Umm.. something's not right here. Suddenly we're down to 9 teams and we can't have an odd number :/
 
nyrfan seems to have deleted his team suddenly.
I'll see if I can't fix a last minute player.
 
Silly that there's no way of having the draft on the same day.. Oh well.

Have a feeling a lot of people didn't remember that the draft was today though, so it might be just as well.
 
I'd just got everything sorted.... Food prepared for cooking, cup of tea and draft ready to go. Then cook tea once draft is completed and make second cup of tea for another draft at 8.30pm tonight...

Oh well here's to Tuesday, I think I'm in, I can't recall 100%. Oh wait I could be out if I want to, however draft or a meeting? Draft for sure.
 
You feckers! I woke up at 8am and saw the draft was moved to 9am. Then I went back to bed and woke up at 9am and saw the draft was moved to Tuesday. :lol:

Tuesday is probably better for me anyways.
 
Yeah sorry about that guys, no idea why nyrfan entered a team and then dropped out again.
I had a guy waiting to join but as we had 10 already with nyrfan I didn't want him to enter as we didn't have a 12th as well waiting in the wings. With nyrfan out he's in.
 
Looking forward to it. The draft is always good fun. I guess teams will get a bit better this year since we're only 10 players.

As long as Thursday arrives without a hitch, I'll be fine even with Ovie in Moscow following a family death. Bloody hate my connection... Still one in two out, I'm fine with that.
 
Sorry to have missed the draft (school) but hey, I feel good that you all let me have both Malkin and Corey Perry. :p

Excuse me, but I want a title under my name... so the re-tooled (hopefully) Oilers well OK 2 players due to connection issues gone, will fight you all the way, and win... The Oilers are coming back
 
I figured the second half of the season is pretty much all that counts... But if Crosby (and Kesler I guess) aren't back by then I'm royally fecked.
 
The missing IR spots should now be available again.
So you can now put Crosby and Kesler on the IR list Iron :)

Damn, got so close to the ultimate (well) price this year. Hit form late after an abysmal first 3/4 th of the season.

Maybe the small amount of success got to my head since my guarantee of victory turned out to be of the Alfredsson/Sedin variety and not the Messier one.

Well, well.. it was fun as always
 
You almost had it. The final really should be two weeks though, it was a bit silly this year. Only six days.
