NFL Playoff

Palmer has torn his ACL. I hope this doesn't end up ruining his career like it has other young players. I'm sure he'll be back, but he may never be the same. Or he could return even stronger.

I had picked the Steelers to win, but this game may have played out differently with a healthy Palmer. Kitna is a good QB too, but just not the same. Losing Chris Henry also hurt, as the Bengals were then reduced to two experienced receivers.

QB is the one position where an ACL doesn´t really hurt that much. Palmer is a pocket passer and doesn´t really have to rely on his legs a lot. Ok, it could hurt his mobility a bit down the line but it´s not like he´s a WR or RB that relies on his speed and has to make quick cuts etc. Palmer will be fine. A shoulder injury like the one Drew Brees suffered would have been much, much worse as that directly affects the way you throw. For any QB not named Michael Vick an ACL isn´t really such a big deal.

giants got buggered today. fecking disgrace.

come on bengals!

I thought the Giants defense did a commendable job, considering the feeble attempt the offense made at moving the ball forward.
Guess I'm now stuck with Seattle and the Broncos for next weekend.
