The Philadelphia Eagles are your NFL Champions. They got their revenge for the Kelce Bowl. They destroyed a Chiefs team seeking to create history with a 3-peat at SuperBowl LIX

This is the second Super Bowl for the Eagles in the last 8 years. Can they build on an impressive season and make it 2 in a row? Chiefs broke a lot of unwanted records through the first 3 quarters of the Super Bowl. Can they bounce back?

Will any of the pretenders stand up this season? Will the Bills, Ravens finally be able to make it to the Super Bowl this season? Will the Lions step up and get it over the line?

Will franchises go bonkers trying to rebuild their trenches? Who will elevate their roster and make them contenders this season?

What are your talking points for the new season

What's everyone's go to social media accounts for NFL content?

Like fun podcasts, and those who break stories, and those who discuss them and those who do game/stats analysis etc.

Looking for some good content.

Add me as a Ravens fan @Sandyman

I was the OG Eagles fan, how dare I not be on that list?
This is relatively new so must have missed a few OGs. Added now

Do we have a fantasy league?
@Sandyman put me down as a Bengals supporter please
Finally decided to follow Burrow eh.

We usually have a Fantasy League if there are enough takers. Will be closer to August end.

Add me as a Ravens fan @Sandyman

6 months away :(

Anyone planning on trying to attend any of the NFL games when they come to UK/Europe later in the year?

I’m hoping to try and get tickets for the Steelers game in Ireland but no doubt tickets are going to be like gold mine as soon as they go on sale, especially with it being the first NFL game to be played in Ireland.

Definitely have it on my bucket list to attend a game in the States one day though.

Raiders for me, used to love their shithousery attitude when I first saw the NFL on C4 in the early 80's, they were good then but basicall shite since + they keep moving cities!

I’m gonna be in NYC in December so hoping I’ll be able to see one of the Jersey teams play.

Can’t imagine I’d be lucky enough for Denver to be on the road there but if that fortune were to strike I’d probably pay a somewhat silly amount to ensure good seats.

That looks class, would love to attend a game in the States as no doubt atmosphere wise is so much better.

I’ve only attended two NFL games before (one in London and the other in Germany). The one in London was a Broncos game in fact. Was the NFL London game at Wembley against the Jaguars in 2022 which the Broncos narrowly won.

I was also at that game :)

I’d resisted the temptation to go to London games before as I wanted my first game to be at Mile High, and I was lucky enough to have friends who lived there which made a visit workable.

Sadly the game I did attend was under Vance Joseph and the Giants handed us our ass; so it would be pretty hilarious if Denver end up playing the Giants at MetLife whilst we’re in NY, but it’s obvious highly unlikely.

I’ll try and get some tickets but last time I was 226000th in the queue so just missed out.

Watch the Giants v Bengals last October when I took the family to NYC. It was awesome!

If you watch at MetLife get the train back, it’s real easy and taxi/ubers where trying to charge $200!

Broncos aren't scheduled to play Giants away in 2025, but they are playing the Jets away...

You're also playing the Eagles away, and Philly is 1hr15m away from NY on the train, if that away game lines up.

Oooooh Giggedy

Probably should have known that detail to be fair; been struggling to keep up with much outside work the last few months.

Edit: Washington wouldn’t be far either right? In fact if Denver isn’t in the equation (most likely) I’d be inclined to head to an Eagles game anyway if tickets could be sourced, that would be very cool.

Edit 2: OK Washington is further than I thought

Let’s start this thread with some awful news.

I’ve been fortunate to have been a London games season ticket holder for 10 years now (so pretty much have been to all the London games at Wembley / Twickenham / Spurs) since then, bar a few I was unable to attend.

I’ve also been lucky to go and see the Pats v Eagles for the Brady returns game a year or so ago, the Rodgers injury game at MetLife, and a few others at MetLife (courtesy of a few work trips to the States).

It’s incredible seeing a game in the US - vastly different simply because for the London games it’s more of an “NFL party” with all teams represented. In the US, it’s inherently better atmosphere because it’s fans if the two teams.

That said, I do and have always enjoyed the London games. I am though getting increasingly frustrated about cost firstly and also now the quality of teams. Always the shittest teams in London now as they save the better teams for the “new” international games locations. With tickets with fees now averaging over £100 a pop (decent seats - top tier between the 40/50 yard lines - but not great seats), it’s hefty when I’m watching the shitness of the Jets and Jags year after year. I just have a fear that if I let them go, then when there is a game I want to see, it’s gonna be hard to get tickets. And truth is it’s still always a good day out with mates.

If you ever go to MetLife I have a bag full of tips for that.

My dream though is to go more games in the States, away from NYC.

I think the stadiums I’d most like to visit are probably Steelers, Bills, Chiefs, Packers, Denver, Philly and Seahawks (for atmosphere/old school stadiums), and then maybe Dallas and LA to see the more state of the art stadiums. Vegas too.

Who knows, if life falls my way I can go do a big nfl tour one year (I would however be spending the rest of my life in debt to my wife if I did that!) - in other words never gonna happen haha.

I don’t watch much Redzone since I catch games in 40 over the week, but I know that for a lot of people in this thread Scott leaving would be traumatically bad news!

I reckon them introducing commercials broke him.

Wow, is it common for AFC Teams to play a whole other NFC Division or is it a new thing?

Maybe down to fixture programming and how they fall/need to fall every odd season?

https://operations.nfl.com/gameday/nfl-schedule/creating-the-nfl-schedule/
Part of the scheduling scheme is playing one whole division from the other conference on a rotating basis.
Right on, thanks. I knew that there was a weighting system based on performances but didn't know they were purposefully rotating in entire divisions for inter-conference play, that one must have gotten by me somehow.

Feels a lifetime away. I hate the summer and the NFL returning symbolises the start of my favourite time of the year. When does the schedule get released? Will be in Vegas in November so hoping I get lucky.

On another note, I finally took the plunge and ordered a ‘mystery shirt in a box’ hoping to get a second team to half keep an eye on whenever the Packers aren’t on. I got Tampa Bay with some OL on the back . A friend at work supports them so back to the drawing board. I opened it with my eyes closed and my girlfriend said it was red. Could have been far worse…
