Djordic - Richardson - Fletcher - Timm

Nardiello

They're all a year older now. How much longer until any of these players have a chance to break into the first team ?? Red Pat, Roy etc ???
;)

Definatley the gems of the utd reserves but I think Jimmy Davis is also a good prospect. With Giggs becoming more and more injury prone over the years i think that Richardson could be a useful alternative, and with Fortune leaving in the summer i think its time for Sir Alex to take time with this gem rather than invest in someone like Duff. I personally feel that Madds Timm is still too young. And finally i think Djordic will get his chance next season, if he doesnt he will probs move to someone like Coventry or something

Of those playing in the reserves, the only ones that may make the step-up are Michael Stewart, who has already done it to some extent, and Jimmy Davis, who should be given a chance.

I've watched the others on MUTV and it is very difficult to envisage these players making the grade. They are not just lacking in experience - to be honest, they are quite poor.

Is the United academy system failing in identifying potentially good players and bringing them through.

Incidentally, Colin Heath is another youngster who is "highly rated" but you should see the number of simple opportunities that he misses. For a club the size of United, there really should be better players coming through, but there isn't.

From the reserves only Fletcher, Timms and Richardson have a chance IMO. Actually they are from the U17s aint they? Sometimes getting a run out for reserves. U17s are a good bunch of players.

Djordic has not made it, he will go the way of Greening/Wilson, unless theres some great improvement. The other reserves are decent but they will never be world class.

I dont see enough quality in Stewart either to be world class material, probably not even Butts level, but we'll see. I think our next set of fledgelings will definitely come from the U17s.

I know it's been well-covered. But, I saw a few clips from Djordjic's loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season, and he looked comfortable.

He may be arrogant etc, but it gives him confidence on the ball, which is a great asset, and could see him go far in the Premiership.

However, his attitude could proove his downfall. Fergie doesn't like attitude, also, I doubt he'll be prepared to be a back-up player for too long.

If he's going to make an impression, it'll have to be a big one, which, he is capable of doing.

Jimmy Davis will be a star if given a real chance in the future. I reckon he should make his first-team debut next season. Mads Timm also sounds like a very good prospect. ;)

Completely agree Gazza. Jimmy Davis reminds me very much of a Paul Scholes but with pace. I think he could well be filling in for Becks on occaisions next season.

Personally I see Fletcher, Richardson and Timm breaking through into the first team squad as well. I reckon Djordic won't make it and will get p*ssed off and leave, plus I think Chadwick will also get sold off as I believe Davis is a far better player.

Another player I forgot to mention os Lee Sims. Excellent defender who players CB for the U-17's and also RB. I reckon he will meake it at right back as he is similar in stature to GNev.

A quick player, but he had need to improve his passing.
