Look Mods. You know me, I'm not one to complain...and possess the friendly nature of a summers day by the river....with birds sweeting as they go about their busy existence.

But why do we have to see what the newbie cretins are feckin talking rubbish about? If I check the "new posts" tab, I want to see what proper, normal....certified ok posters are posting...not some pleb asking whether it would be wise to cash in on Keane??

Nah, in kicking out all the scouse WUMs a few weeks back the default settings went to cock so that everyone could see the Newbie and some banned posters could still post. We can reset everyones access screens individually quite easily so that say you can post in the Newbie, Davo can no longer see it or Melvin can be banned from the General forum but we're not about to start doing that for 9000 odd users (emphasis on the odd in most cases ;) )

Things should return to normal once Niall upgrades the software in the summer so we're trying to avoid tinkering with the settings and risking even stranger results in the mean time.
 
As for the manual, that's staying where it is. The last time someone had that out, the table went all wobbly and we ended up with Yaps' coffee all over the staff room :p
