Sanctity, like a cat, abhors filth.
This week we welcomed Mourinho as United manager. But not everyone is happy. Some, like Cantona, feel he was the wrong man for the job.

"But who else could we have appointed?" I hear you ask. "it's all well and good saying Guardiola or Klopp, but they're not available. Shut up and go away."

Well, one person, a newbie, has an idea some of you may scoff at. I know I did when I first heard about it. But the guy has stats. He's done his research. He wants a platform from which to share his ideas.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you @gav81.

Oh yes, if he doesn't turn up for a while and people want to get started, his idea is giving the job to Keano, the living embodiment of SAF. On the basis of his fabulous work getting Sunderland promoted, and for years of being fierce and scaring the shit out of everybody. I'd argue Mourinho is a better bet, personally. But I do recognise the point that Mourinho has already had a decade of success at the top. Few managers get more than that. Keano hasn't had that success, maybe his is ahead of him? It's a crazy idea, yes. But it's a crazy world at times.

If Keane ever manages United it means that the barrel has well and truely been scraped or Keane has managed to prove he's worth a punt.

You could argue Keano's a Rolls Royce teaching a bang up bunch of minis how to be a Rolls Royce. We'll never know. All it takes is one job. How many people were praising Rodgers at Swansea? How many people will call Zidane the next big thang in management?...It's not what they do for other clubs but what they do for your own and we'll probably never get the answer to that.

Keane is the living embodiment of just one aspect in SAF, the being fierce and scaring the shit out of everybody aspect. Keane did great getting Sunderland promoted, then not so great with Sunderland in PL and Ipswich after. I don't know what impressive stats there are for Keane but he needs to show a bit more as a manager than just being tough and breathing fire up his players' arse.

Saying he's a good option for us because he's fierce and scary is like saying we should sign Usain Bolt because he'll inject the pace we are missing into the team.

It completely ignores the fact that on top of being an authoritarian with high standards he is lacking in several other areas that make a top manager.

Roy keane's first month as MUFC manager:

'The players should be ashamed of themselves'

'The fans should be ashamed of themselves'

'The board/owners should be ashamed of themselves'

'The sponsors should be ashamed of themselves'

'What you looking at?'

'Take that ya cnut'
