Didn't see Elvis or Weaste mention this, but microsoft have released a new 60GB HDD version of the premium, for £179.99. The console also has an HDMI port, similar to the Elites, meaning gaming of up to 1080p can be achieved.

Seems a very good deal to me, bearing in mind it is £300 for an 80GB PS3.

well it is understandable that it is cheaper as it does not come with a blu-ray player like the PS3.

with the added HDMI out at least they aren't forcing you to use that mutant cable anymore.

I dont understand why people want such a large HDD?

I'd recommend buying a External Hard Drive for films/music - only really use my HDD for downloading demos which pretty much get deleted after a couple of games.

I own both consoles, I think I can make a valid opinion on which is more bang for the buck.

I don't see the point in me getting a 360, only 2 or 3 of the exclusives interest me, and it is more than likely that those will come to PC in time anyway. Add to that I don't want to be paying £40 a year to play online, but this is familiar territory so let's not go down this route again eh?

And don't slate me for thinking MGS4 is one of the best games I have ever played!
