New video game suggestion

I'm looking for a new (new to me) XBox 360 game. Any suggestions/must-play titles I should check out? It doesn't have to be new.

BioShock or Mass Effect have been widespread suggestions, and I have yet to play either.

Dead Space is fantastic and cheap.

Battlefield 1943 is a good laugh on Xbox live (1200 points).

Bioshock & Mass Effect are good suggestions too though.

Don't look any further than Saints Row 2. A far better game than Grand Theft Auto 4. A riotous laugh and not a bad story either. That and it's perfect to play over live with a mate.

If you haven't played it i strongly urge you to get Bioshock. You can get it for under a tenner now and it's well worth that.

Other games depend on your taste.

For FPS games then the Orange Box or Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare, Gears of War,
RPG's Mass Effect, Oblivion, or Lost Odyssey,
Sports then Fifa and Virtua Tennis 4 are the only two i really play,
Fighters, Street Fighter 4 and UFC are worth a look,
Action games, Ninja Blade is good fun, Devil May Cry as well. Both hack and slash but with a lot of fun for a bit of a release from the more taxing games.

And there are some great tiles on Arcade, Braid, Battlefield, Sam and Max and Monkey Island if you just fancy some classic pick up and play games.

Oblivion. It's probably the best game you'll ever play, and will take you ages to get through.

You're yet to play Bioshock OR Mass Effect??? Oh dear! Must haves for any 360 owner. Wont cost more than £20 for the pair of them nowadays.

In short, get them!

BioShock, then get BioShock 2 in a few months.

If you're looking for a maniacal driving game that loads of fun, then get Burnout Paradise. Should be pretty cheap.
