Is it possible to have a Video Forum with United highlights and goals from the upcoming season?

Like the old video forum we had.

It would make things much easier when you want to go back and take a look at United games. No need to scroll through the entertainment forum.
 
That's a good point. Possibly a sub-forum in the 'Entertainment' Forum?
 
It would be better than searching through loads of random threads. At the very least a sticky that just has links to the goals and stuff.
 
Also, check out Robbo`s United-clip thread in the United forum. It would be nice to have a forum like that, combined with somewhere to post the goals and highlights of individual matches.
 
Well mods, any chance of this happening?

It's a great idea that will make it easier for people.
 
I have made a sticky thread for now until we can discuss it further. I have made the thread in the Entertainment forum but it might be better suited to the United forum.

Something to be going on with anyway.
 
I have moved it to the United forum at least for now.

We will be having a discussion about other video related threads etc over the next week or so. I think we have a long term solution on mind but we may need a short term solution until then.

And thank Sultan. He was the one who brought it up in the mod forum.
 
I think a sticky would be better than a sub forum. Hardly anyone visited the old forum.

We are discussing your idea in the mod forum. It fits with something we are already doing but isn't quite ready to go.
 
Excellent.

I felt that it was a mistake to start a dedicated overall video forum, but if there was a football based one, or a YouTube 'goals' sticky in the MUFC forum, it would be brill.
 
Excellent idea, it was put to the mods before but they said that highlights should be posted at the end of the match-day threads, nice to see them considering it again. It's a United forum after all!
 
We do however have concerns that it will make us a target for the PL copyright mob. We are reviewing our options and waiting for Niall to have the final say.

Thats why I suggested older stuff from private tapes..say pre 90's would be ideal...lets see Brian Moore sue for example for the United Spurs clip from the early 70's that he says at the end I wonder who that screaming commentator was.......:lol:..I recorded that from ITV circa 1984
