For all you lovely people that aren't afraid to be labeled emo :boring:

I'm Going the same way I Came
Up from the ashes then I'm from the
Ashes
If our house it stood here on this wood
foundation
Then you, you could've fooled me I admit I was a fool for
Your southern days
(one-hundred and fifty degrees in the shade)
It wasn't an option to come back to my place
(No I was put in my place)
You, we lived in separate
houses we had for all our lives
It would've been nice to say
(It would've been nice to say )
It would've been nice to say
I knew you
when oh when will this
sinking feeling
Feel like "man that was ages ago"
CARPATHIA
I dont worry half as much as I Did
When I was an experiment
Your resident tourniquet
life's how about your left waiting, just waiting
I am the mantel and your a painting
come rest your frame on me
(come rest your frame on me )
I was a tower and you were an airplane
We happened before we knew
what was happening
we lived in separate
houses we had for all our lives
It would've been nice to say
(It would've been nice to say )
It would've been nice to say
when oh when will this
sinking feeling
Feel like "man that was ages ago"
when oh when will this
sinking feeling
Feel like "man that was ages ago"
"man that was ages ago"
"man that was ages ago"
"man that was ages ago"
"man that was ages ago"
We lived inside each other
such careless lazy lovers
Would've been nice to say
Sure would've been nice to say
when oh when will this
sinking feeling
Feel like "man that was ages ago"
when oh when will this
sinking feeling
Feel like "man that was ages ago"
"man that was ages ago"
"man that was ages ago"
"man that was ages ago"
"man that was ages ago"

Is this their first single after Fred left the band? I don't really like it to be honest. Mind you Louder Now wasn't a patch on their first 2 albums, there wasn't really a stand out song on it. I'm not their biggest fan anyway, but Where You Want To Be and Tell All Your Friends had some cracking songs, Great Romances, A Decade Under the Influence, New American Classic were all stand out songs.

Don't know if they are releasing it as a single... There was a link to it on their myspace page, something like, buy a tbs charity e-card and hear the song.
But its their first song without fred in it, althought the new guys vocals do sound quite similar to freds.
I like the way they have progressed, Louder Now was a lot more radio friendly compared to their first two albums.. But had some cracking songs on it like "What's it feel like to be a ghost" and "spin."
I can only see this album following in the footsteps of Louder Now though...

I'd pretty much agree with this...

Good band, decent single. Were shit at Reading this year. Dunno if that was before or after Fred left.
