I was wondering earlier today about when the next manager is appointed, what changes he will make to the squad.

Mads Timm, Fabien Brandy, Daniel Rowe.....

Well first thing I would do is to warn all the players that NO ONE has a guaranteed place at OT

2) I would twart forever the 4-4-1-1 formation
and return to the 4-4-2

3) I would never change a players position ( unless in extremely emergency cases)

4) I would off load the dead wood ( P Nev, Blanc, Forlan, May, chadwick and Fortune)

5) Loan our youths

6) recall webber

7) Search for new players

We need 1 A left back
2 a Center back
3 a winger that can play on two flanks
4 two forwards

left back my fav (Kaladze 12M can play equally well both as left, central and defensive midfielder.)

Central back Ayala FREE (a wonderful and experienced defender with an EU passport )

Winger on both wings Castroman 5m ( Argies answer to Ryan Giggs. Can play anywhere on the flanks ( LB, RB , LW, RW) and can be inserted in the Lazio's deal for stam's payment

Two forwards

a) Ronaldinho 20m ( The player most close to Cantona's mould. Can cover both Scholes/Veron and would be an ideal partner for RVN)

b) Either Lopez 4m ( Argentinian striker cum left winger. can be inserted into Stam's deal) or Chervanton (3.2m Lecce thundering striker, scored tons of goals in the serie A and B)

41m worth of talent

which could be payed

12m owned by Lazio
other 15m from the players we have sold

CONCLUSION we can afford a further 15 M to return to our best :D

Be more aggressive in picking the cream of the world's best young players via a worldwide scouting system.

We are the world's biggest football club so we should put ourselves to be the first in line when it comes to snapping up young gems.

Exactly. United shouldbe in a position to attract six or seven of the best young talents around the world every season. It only needs one or two gems a year to make it through and we're sorted. Worth the gamble.

I'm going to be argumentative cause i feel like whinging and its my birthday tomorrow so it's my privilage.

2) The way we play formation are almost non-existant. Our players are flexible and can adapt to almost any formation. The formation is not causing us the problem, it is the constant switching from game to game.

3) Phil Nev. was a revelation when asked to play as a defensive midfielder. Ole has has some good performances when playing on the left, Becks has played well in the middle. John O'Shea at right back

4) Dead Wood?
Fortune - been out injuried for about a year.
Blanc - Been excellent this year, scored on Wed.
Forlan - Overall play is very good, just no happening in front of goal at the moment.

5) Danny Webber - Watford
Jimmy Davis - Swindon
Bojan Djordjic - Arahaus

7) Search for New Players - Oh yeah its that simple. A winger who can play both flanks - Go on then name some, who are good enough, i can only think of maybe 2, actually no just 1 - Zambrotta

Lazio have apparently made arrangements to pay.

7, Nedved, Pires.
