According to the <a href="http://www.manutd.com" target="_blank">www.manutd.com</a> website the new Nike kit was supposed to launch for pre-orders today (June 5th) at noon BST. I've tried logging on several times and it still says that there are 30 days until the June 5th launch!?! Has anyone else experienced this? Is the website screwed up or do they have the date wrong? I supposed to be available in stores starting August 1st...this was an "exclusive" pre-order that apparently hasn't happened as stated.

We all know what it will look like but I'm not pre ordering mine just yet. Nike could spring a surprise and launch a different one instead.
Also, if you get your shirt personalised they don't accept returns. If it was Umbro I'd have no problem with this but what if Nike sizes are different? I will be paying £40 for a shirt that doesn't fit.
They may be charging a standard £5 extra for shirt printing now but I notice that you cannot select to have Van Nistelrooy on the back of your shirt for an extra £5 - too many letters!

The away shirt looks like the U.S kit.

I guarantee you it won't look like the bootleg kit currently in wide distribution on the net (check Ebay). Umbro did this as well with the release of the England away strip. A fake strip was "leaked" which prompted the Asian knock off factories to crank out thousands of "official" blue replica jerseys. Two months later Umbro released the actual away shirt, in use now, which looked nothing like the knock off. When Man Utd and Nike finally reveal the actual kits the knock off factories will no doubt switch and make copies but at least this way (by delaying the reveal) they can keep the crooks from nicking too much of their money through counterfeits.
I use the term crooks lightly...personally I think it's criminal to charge forty quid and up for a shirt that should cost half that, especially since they change them so frequently.
