Sure nesta has the pedegree to join the best team in the world but maybe this transfer spec is nothing more than that, i mean look whats happend last summer with that french geezer Lillian Turaham(cant spell second name).But saying all this i think we need to take into consideration the Veron deal, personally i didnt think we stood a flipping chance in signing him but we did and maybe it will be the same wif nesta hope so.The posibilities are endless to whom we will sign, from a 4million+ player in Dean Ashton to a 25mill player in Nesta.Imagine the team next season for champions League if we signed 2 new defenders my pick would be....

I'd be extremely surprised if Fergie lands Crespo.

There is a chance that Fergie will be allowed to open the vault for a Nesta considering the state of our defence at the start of the season. Does anyone know what Nesta a makes?

Realistically, I think we'll have to count on O'Shea and / or Brown to step up.
