Sushi is japanese. Do Lazio fans clump all asians into the same sterotype ? ;)

It was too subtle for a brit, I must admit.
Sushi fan stands for fashion fan. Like many of your "supporters", mate.

In Hong Kong they eat elbows. They call it "Keano skill".

percy this just gets better

Real Madrid would like to announce that they have reached an agreement with Inter Milan for the transfer of Ronaldo, who will join the club next Monday to undergo a medical and will then be presented to the media at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium," said a spokesman for the Spanish club.

An Inter spokesman confirmed that the deal had been agreed, with the club adding that they had reached an agreement to buy Argentina striker Hernan Crespo from Lazio to replace Ronaldo.

Not this again. For about 10m more we got someone who has Prem experience, knows many of the players well, speaks the lingo... the advantages for having Rio here are endless.

If you knew the history of your club a bit better, you'd speak wiser words. Clearly you are not a decent football fan, reading your words. I feel sorry for you: those who pay no respect to the turning fortunes of life are doomed to live in ignorance.
Stick to the tons of jersey you lot sell in Asia: it's the only thing that can save you, in this falling football world.

Totally! As I understand it, Lazio still owed United 12 million pounds. That would mean that United would have had to come up with 8 million more to get Nesta. Why he isn't in a United shirt is beyond my understanding?

Last time I write this...

Rio...
  • Is Premiership proven.
  • Knows most of our 1st team, extremely well.
  • Is almost 3 years younger.
  • Is 2 inches taller.
  • Speaks English, fluently.
  • Doesn't need to change lifestyle, country or culture.
  • Will probably be at the heart of United's defence for the next 10 years.
  • Wanted to play for United. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

None of the above are a slight on Nesta at all, I'm merely pointing out why I think United chose to go with Rio rather than Nesta. Paying £15m now and the rest later was also a great move imo.

It seems that everytime a decent player is bought by another club, some on here always harp up saying "why couldn't we get him blah, blah, blah".

In the immortal words of Murt, I say to you all...

"Do you want fries with that order?"

:)

They didn't sell, or offer as part of the money owed, Nesta to us (if indeed we wanted him) then they got the payment issue sorted. As soon as they were financially off the hook with United, they sold Nesta to Milan and Crespo to Inter. Very smart buisness imo.

i don't think lazio's problems are anywhere near as bad as foirentina's...lazio might some problems settling in w/ out crespo and nesta, but still i'm pretty sure their financial concerns are no longer concerns...
