This was the only other source I bothered to look at, other than goal.

For those of you with poor spanish;
-The fee is 14 million euros
-Real will retain a two-year buyback option where they can repurchase him for 17 million.
-Negredo has signed a four year deal at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán
-Deal was initially done to go to Zaragoza, but he chose Sevilla because of their Champions League participation, taking a pay cut (apparently) in the process.

Haven't seen much of Negredo at Almeria but his record is pretty good. I think he'll do well at Sevilla.

Finally Sevilla make a serious signing. Till this, their major transfer this summer was Didier fecking Zokora.

Negredo is good but you have to wonder if he's going to get starts over Kanoute and Fabiano. Striking options just isnt a weakness of theirs and really, he's too good to be on the bench all the time. Would have suited Valencia a lot more but obviously they had no money.

I'd expect one of Koné or Chevantón to be moved on now, to make way for him, leving;

Koné/Chevantón, Carreno(Yth), Negredo, Kanouté, Fabiano.

Not that much of a pile up, especially if Carreno doesn't play a major part this season

Koné been there since 07 and only has 1 goal to show for it. He'd be the one more likely to go

:lol: apparently he was offered to Boro this time last season

Koné is shit, I wonder how he managed to go and be at club like Sevilla since he's so average.Negredo is a quality player but not sure Sevilla is good for him since they already 2 high profile strikers

Well, Kanouté isn't getting any younger and Fabiano could yet move, perhaps.

Fitness issues will start to creep into his game*.

Take longer to recover between games. Kanouté is a good striker, having Negredo as another option to rotate will help keep him fresh and in peak form for the key games, rather than having to play week-in, week-out against the likes of Xerez and other such small Spanish teams

*i could be talking a load of arse, mind. every player is different.

It was pretty weird alright, Frazier Campbell and Daryl Murpy turned them down, so they went after Michael Owen and Negredo instead.
