As a Manchester United supporter i hate to say this - but i think Arsenal will win the premiership this Year - They have an easy schedule left - home games against Sunderland,West Ham,Tottenham and ipswich - Away games against Charlton, Bollton - and off cause Manchester United - but even if we win that game - they will still win it - i think. We have to play Leesds and Chelsea away - cant really se us winning both those games.

Start supporting Arsenal then

We've not got a bad record at Elland Road or Stamford Bridge either.

Why should i start supporting them ?.
I am just saying that their schedule is easy - or reletively easy.

Nil desperandum! (In Latin - `Never despair`!) Just look at previous seasons and get some hope from there, especially the Treble season where the title came down to the wire.

Manchester United has the experience to cope with the pressure more than Arsenal has. Sure, they have all those French internationals etc but I truly believe that Arsenal is like Chelsea - buying foreign internationals does not a Premiership (or Champions League hey Arsene?)winning team make.

Manchester United has a core of local
lads who grew up with a great love for the club and a loyalty to the club and to each other, plus imports such as Roy Keane, Ole, Ruud etc who have proved their passion to succeed and their loyalty to Manchester United.

Manchester United also has a greater tradition than Arsenal, andcertainly in the Busby Babes era and the Best/Law/Charlton era created new traditions that Liverpool did not have in that time. Of course Liverpool had that great success in the mid 70s and 80s but Manchester United will overtake that record in a few years.

Manchester United will win a tightly contested run home for the title, and don`t underestimate the so called easier games Arsenal have at home.

Teams not in contention for the title or relegation will nevertheless fight with all their strength to spoil the hopes of the contenders and to finish the season on a high note.

Arsenal beware! Manchester United know what to expect and will work their guts out to be champions again but I don`t see Arsenal`s stars really getting stuck in when the chips are down.

hope your right.
We usually preform wery well at Stamford Bridge - is it 1 loss in 10 games.

Arsenal have got Charlton away who have NOT been beaten by any London teams this season.
Good omen maybe.

Bolton will be fighting for their lives when the Arse play them.

Spurs is a big derby game you never know what might happen.

And Man United away is no easy task whatsoever.

So don't worry all is not lost.

If it comes to the Arse and the Dippers I'm afraid I'm going for the Arse.

Er... who the hell refers to a fixture list as a bloody 'schedule' ffs?

And this has already been gone over a million times before.

(1) United lose to Chelsea and West ham at home...

United are going to win nothing this season
Fergie has lost the plot
all the players should be sold

(2) United go on a winning run and are top of the league...

United are going to win everything this season
fergie is the best on the land
all the players are great

(3 United lose at home to "Burru"...

United are going to win nothing this season
Fergie has lost the plot
all the players should be sold

Next to the word 'fickle' in the dictionary it should read, 'various members of Redcafe'

Every game is going to be like a derby game now though Stanley :(

Liverpool have the easiest sched (today aside). Most of their matches are at Anfield and their form is relatively good compared to two months ago. I can't see Arse doing so well with Pires out for month. As for us, we need a resounding 3 points against the sheep next week. One game at a time. ;)

How does a greater tradition (and I'm not sure how you quantify that anyway) have any relevance to this title run-in?
Arsenal had the Chapman era in the 30s when they won five titles and three FA Cups, but that isn't going to help them beat Sunderland any more than Matt Busby's achievements will help United pick up three points at Elland Road.
