NASCAR pit passes

I've just been offered some for this weekend..is it worth going?

It would be pretty wild to see the cars up close and the pit crews, etc.

Nascar itself is usually pretty boring oval racing, except for the crashes.

That's what I'm thinking. I like F1 and have been to Le Mans a few times but NASCAR just leaves me cold.

I don't think I can be arsed to go to Sonoma when there's footy & golf all weekend.

Yeah, Nascar seems to get this boring appeal, but its a different kind of racing. The sight and sound of those things would be un-real. They're truly a throw back to a by gone era of international racing.

I doubt it compares to Le Mans. The noise from those cars is just amazing. It's a fantastic event and I just don't think that NASCAR could measure up. Wish I knew somebody who could use the passes who would appreciate it.
