Premier league, Champions league and European cup champion.

Can't be that bad after all.

Pepe and him were Portugal's best players. Fantastic tonight after he moved to the right.

Still think we were wrong to get rid of him.

Especially in the loan move for Rojo.

A really good tournament from him, good to see him finally matured, kept on making the right decision after another.

Had an excellent tournament, can't wait to see how he does at Valencia. Quite amazing that many preferred Young and Valencia iver him, some people will never learn.

Love and miss him. Still can't believe we gave him a 5 year contract and then was then loaned and eventually sold after playing a couple or so games just after signing the contract.

I've always been a fan. Watching him in this tournament after the shite we have seen on our right wing the last few years is just hugely frustrating. We pretty much gave him away too.

Oh yeah and we swapped him with Rojo. Bloody boneheaded decision

Happy for him, what a renaissance. He may never reach the heights that people were counting on for him to reach when he was younger, but he'll always have this moment.

He had a great tournament.

Hope he keeps this form for Valencia.

Feck LVG and his pass sideways, no risk taking philosophy.

Imagine if we had Nani and Di Maria with mourinho in charge. With our newest additions + those 2 our attack would be insane.

Great tournament and it's insulting how his contribution has been overlooked by the English media.

He was absolutely excellent. Fairly underrated for his career at Manchester United. He could've reached even higher heights but looking back at his statistics per season and most of his bests easily match the so called best wingers/attackers in the league these days.

Don't forget guys, we gave lot of money to Sporting and payed Nani to play for them in exchange for Rojo. And we sold him for around 5 millions to Fenerbahce the next year.

Pretty sure he is still high in the premierleague all time assist list.

Pepe and Nani were Portugal's best players by far. Nani has added work rate and defensive contribution to his game and tracks back a lot now.

I sometimes don't know what the caf expects from wingers.

Literally every single winger I've seen (with the exception of Messi) is patchy as feck in a game. It's part and parcel of the role, you're going to lose the ball, not find your man from a cross but they're their to produce.

It's like people would rather have cowards playing the role like Young and Valencia (of recent years). Where the feck has that got us?

Became a better player once he found his level in a lesser league.

Nani was inconsistent but fergie wasn't always forgiving and more often than not nani wasn't given a long run of games to find his form.

I miss having a winger with some unpredictability, it's been dire.

Not giving Nani a chance was one of the first of many terrible LVG decisions. Initially because of the 5-3-2 formation he stupidly tried to enforce.

Was disappointed when he left. Much more gifted than a lot of our attacking options that had game time last season.

Yeah thats it. He want good enough for us.

11th, 1 behind the greatest winger in Man Utd history, Ryan Giggs.

Delighted for him. Had a fantastic tournament and got almost no praise, but he was a leader out there today. If Valencia use him right, they made a class signing.

I never wanted him to leave, so I'm happy that at least he is having some success since leaving us. I feel like now he is getting the respect and praise that he deserves for club and country, which he didn't seem to get when he played for us. Definitely a very good player and one of the most exciting ones we've had in recent times

Don't rate him, don't miss him, but....

Credit where it's due, he was excellent in this tournament. Probably Portugal's second best player after Pepe.
