You feckin dickhead, the majoity of Irelands team are Irish, the Irish team under Jack Charlton had a lot of English players, but suppose you being in America I suppose you are only getting that news now

They are all Irish? Is that why they talk with a cockney accent!!

Ireland...!

Roy Keane....? Cork

Paddy Roche used to be reserve keeper under Alex Stepney and that was too close to be dangerous as he proved on more than one occasion. He ended up at Halifax Town and that's the last I heard of him....! Sorry Paddy you were a legend, just as Jim Leighton is...

You feckin dickhead, if you check somebody from Belfast's passport, it clearly states Northern IRELAND, BUT YOU NOT BEING FROM THERE YOU WOULD NOT KNOW. People from Belfast are proud of their Irishness

For you English twats who claim Irish players are are English, read John Barnes (Jamica), Terry Butcher(Singapore) and Owen Hargreaves (Canada)

It's funny that someone who is "apparently" from Britain is entitled to an Irish passport, though you not being from there you would not know. I am from Belfast and I can tell you that I am not British, I am proud to be Irish.

What part of the bog have you climbed out of.Northern Ireland is part of Britain, hence the British passport. You know same as 2 plus 2 =4, or is even that concept beyond you.

Seeing as your a mathematical genius maybe you can handle the old reading aswell. Look at your passport and read the front, what does it say? Northern what?
Your Irish, and dont worry, in a few yrs your children or grand children will be cheering on the United Irish national team :D

Give it a few years and we will have Ian Paisly Jr kicking points for Antrim in the All Ireland final..Its only a matter of time a bhuachaill :)

without fighting I said....

We haven't met, and will keep it that way,but watch the personal slams on other members of the forum. Some of us actually have a sense of humor and appreciation for the observations of others not readily apparent to rookies at the Cafe.

Why is that? have they suddenly moved Belfast to a new location? Does it not say Northern "IRELAND" on your passport or have you got one with North west Britain?? Fact is you are Irish, but you come from the northern part of the island. George Best was also Irish otherwise he would not have said so on numerous occasions. But in the big picture we are all from "EARTH" a small insignificant but beautiful blue diamond in an inky black space which it shares with trillions of other heavenly bodies, and has a disease called homo sapiens.
:p

Bestisbest.

What part of Belfast are you from??

Where would you find the Garrick Bar??
