My point of view from this game...

Because this game was the first game of Maccabi Haifa in the champinos league, I'm very happy.
I cried when great Katan got the goal, it was very very fun... How he got it through Barthez legs.. Love it.
But if we realistic, Man-Utd is better then Maccabi Haifa- by money and by all the other things like talent etc.
What do you think about this game?
What do you think about the 7,000 great green fans of Maccabi Haifa?
Did you believe that Maccabi Haifa can send this amount of fans?
I heard that it is a recors of a team that brings fans to the OT in a Champinos league.

Strange.

I thought your fans were very noisy, but wasn't it them that was whistling a lot? How do you feel about the way your players dropped their heads and allowed us to walk all over them?

There's something very strange about all this.

Is that you Barca?

Fair play to them. They were a credit to the club. You have a bigger Travelling support then Wimbledon have home support.

They only came to watch Man United.

The maccabi fans were excellent, really got into the atmosphere and were loud. Its a bit nit picky(?)to mention their quite spells as even they were louder than the south stand.

Not sure whether Haifa broke a record or anything like that, but when was the last time there were so many tickets available for away fans?

I mean, there were less than 64,000 people at Old Trafford and I don't remember that happening since the stadium was turned into a 67300 seater.

For the first replayer... I cried because my favorite team had scored against one of the best teams in the world, and the richest!
I guess you never understand Because you are a fan of Man-Utd.

Yes... the fans of Maccabi-Haifa were very noisey and everybody heard them in the OT and in the TV.

Most of the fans of maccabi haifa coming today home... And they came to see the first game of Israeli team in the champinos league. And they came to see Maccabi-Haifa.
Maybe because it was Man-Utd more fans come then to every game in the champions league.
What do you think about the winning of Olympiakos?

I feel the same. I saw the goals of this game... in there was 2 more goals of olympiakos that cancelled.

I asume that there will be the same number of fans also in the second match between the 2 teams.
Mayby there will be more becasue it's cheaper.
If to the game in the OT every fan had to pay 600$, in the match in cyprus a flying ticket will cost 270-300$ + a ticket to the match (25$~).

The Haifa fasn were fecking loud for the first 20mins or so, the quietened down a bit after that.

At one point, they were having a singing comp between themselves. Quite amusing.

Watched it in a pub in London very eclectic crowd including about 10 or so I took from their attire and hair ringlets to be Orthodox Jews and therefore Maccabbi supporters

having a pee after the game I say to one standing beside me " Your lot were better than I thought " .well they did score two at OT .....he says..." I agree, and we1ll beat Spurs Sat too " ...turns out he has been a Man United fan all his lfe , about35 years old or so Id say...joke on me never take things at face value

as the Stretty banner says ....United The Religion ( or something like that

Yes... all the fans in Israel from all the teams do like that... They said- Na Na Na Na ....
and then ~name of a rival player" and so* o* a bi**h. In hebrew that's match and it's end in Na

There was only ever going to be one winner, lets face it!I thought Israel was in the Middle East not Europe, but there you go strange game football? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
