Here they are.....

* the only reason we did not win the game is because of the linesman and ref. Absolute clear penalty and Ruud put through twice and wasnt offside to be given offside. feck I hate Graham Poll !!! Im not one normally to complain about referees but that was a disgusting performance. Why the feck did Becks get booked with Desailly ? Unbelievable....

* The 2nd half performance was the most impressive ive seen from us in nearly 2 years. unbelievable. Great football. Beautiful passing and every single one of the shirts were running their balls off ! Especially Ruud. Im afraid we arent using him as well as we can.

* John O'shea is an absolutely BRILLIANT central defender and IMO should partner Rio in the middle. 2 great young defenders to lead us into the future. He was DEFINTELY the Man of the Match.

* Who said Becks doesnt have a left foot ? First half he didnt play so well, but in the 2nd he was very good. Some good passing and crossing of the ball and continually involved.

* Scholes needs to play an attacking midfield role. Using him just behind Ruud isnt the way to go. He was awsome in the 2nd half.

* Keano looked injured for most of the game. Until the last 15 mins of the game he was our worst player.

* Cant wait for G Neville to come back because Phil gives us nothing.

* If we play half as good on Tuesday as we did in the second half we will score 10 goals against the Hungarians. 10 goals minimum....

* This should be a huge confidence booster for the lads because games like that last year we would have lost. If we play like that consistently then I am positive the premiership is coming HOME !!!

* We need to play 4-4-2 with Ole and Ruud upfront. We will be much more lethal with them playing together. Ruud is running himself ragged for no reason.

Thats all I can think of for now....

CMON UNITED !!!

* Mickey is continually improving but somtimes his first touch lets him down. Im being patient with him because he is IMPROVING. Not a bad game today. Did well to set up the goal !

Did you even watch the game ? Silvestre was brilliant, he set up 2 goals and was flawless in defence.
Jesus even when he does good you can't give him credit for it.

Agree with most of what Beckham007 said. We have improved a lot from last match. Scholes although playing with unfamilar position he still had some very good touches and continue to improve throughout the match. The only question was that Ruud seems didn't got back his form yet. So if we only started with one striker may be we should start with Ole instead.

I'm not sure about mickey being flawless in defense, there were a couple of occassions when he got dragged in field leaving a lot of room on the wing. Had it been Zenden and not De Lucas or Melchiot that was given that kind of space, we could have been in a bit more trouble.
Going forward though he was fantastic. If we had more options at left back i would like to see him given a try on the left wing, and let Giggs move infield, could be worth a try maybe in the Worthless Cup or something.
Scholes was very quiet in the 1st half but excellent in the second.
Ruud worked his bollocks of all night for very little reward
John O'Shea has, in my opinion, done more than enough to be the first choice partner of Rio. O'Shea will make mistakes and go through bad patches this is when Blanc can come back in as cover
Until i saw the way we played in the second half i was always an advocate of 4-4-2, but if scholes can adjust to playing just of the striker it looks like this formation can work.

Keep it up Lads. Playing like this we can push for major honours. Hopefully We'll be playing our final game at OT in the Champions League Final!

Poor Silvestre... At this rate he will end his career as a striker despite his continuous claims for a CB spot.
